Swaraj Dweep (Havelock Island) is part of the Ritchie's Archipelago in the Andaman & Nicobar Islands. Renamed from Havelock to Swaraj Dweep in 2018, the island is internationally renowned for its pristine white-sand beaches, extensive coral reefs and rich marine biodiversity. It is an important destination for marine conservation, eco-tourism and serves as a gateway for scuba diving and snorkeling in the Bay of Bengal.

Accessibility
Reachable from Port Blair (Veer Savarkar Airport) by government passenger ferries and private ferries (journey ~1.5–3 hours depending on service). Fast ferries/private operators are quicker, government ferries take longer. Helicopter or seaplane services are occasional; check current schedules. Local transport: rented scooters, taxis and arranged transfers are common on the island.
Recommended Duration
2–4 days to enjoy main beaches and one or two dives/snorkel trips; 5–7 days if planning multiple dives or relaxed exploration.
