The Green Planet (Dubai) is an indoor bio-dome and one of the region's most immersive urban rainforest experiences. Located in City Walk, Al Wasl, it recreates a tropical ecosystem in the desert to promote biodiversity awareness, conservation and environmental education for families, students and visitors.

Best Time to Visit

Best times: Weekdays (especially early morning or late afternoon) to avoid peak crowds. Because it is an indoor attraction, it is suitable year-round — however Dubai's cooler months (November–March) are generally more pleasant for combining outdoor plans.

Inside the biodome a warm, humid tropical microclimate is maintained to support the plants and animals. Outside, Dubai is very hot in summer; plan travel and transport accordingly.

Located in City Walk, Al Wasl. Nearest major public transport hubs: Burj Khalifa/Dubai Mall Metro (Red Line) or a short taxi/ride-share from central Dubai. The facility is wheelchair accessible with lifts and ramps; strollers are permitted though some areas are narrower.

Wear light, breathable clothing (the biodome is humid). Comfortable shoes, a camera, and a small bag are recommended. Bring a refillable water bottle (there are cafés nearby).
