Accessibility
Chitkul is reached by road through the Sangla valley (Baspa Valley). Typical access route: drive from Shimla/Rampur/Sangla via NH/State highways into Kinnaur and then the valley road to Chitkul. Nearest major airports: Shimla (Jubbarhatti) and Chandigarh (both several hours by road). Nearest major railheads are at Kalka/Chandigarh (then road transfer).
