Itinerary

  1. Travel to Tung Chung MTR Station; follow signs to Ngong Ping 360 terminal. Buy tickets at counter or collect pre-booked tickets.

    MTR Tung Chung Line to Tung Chung Station; terminal is a short walk from Exit B.

  2. Queue for boarding. Staff will load passengers into cabins. The ride begins and climbs above Tung Chung and coastal areas.

    Standard cabins seat up to 8; Crystal cabins have a glass floor. Boarding order depends on ticket type and queue.

  3. Enjoy progressively changing scenery — urban Tung Chung, coastal wetlands, reclaimed land, wooded slopes, then descent into Ngong Ping.

    Take photos from the cabin windows; secure loose items. Views change with direction and weather.

  4. Disembark and explore Ngong Ping Village (shops, eateries, cultural displays). Walk or take steps up to the Tian Tan Buddha and Po Lin Monastery.

    Allocate 45–120 minutes for village and main attractions; stairs to the Big Buddha involve a climb of over 200 steps.

  5. Return by cable car to Tung Chung or continue hiking/exploring Lantau and take other transport back.
