Green Bowl Beach,Bali
Natural importance: Green Bowl Beach is a hidden, scenic cove on Bali's southern limestone coast (Ungasan/Badung). Carved by waves into a sheltered bowl and backed by dramatic cliffs, it showcases Bali's coastal geology, coral reef ecosystem, and clear Indian Ocean waters. The beach's relative seclusion helps preserve local marine life and the coral reef near the shore.

Accessibility
Location: Ungasan area (south of Bukit Peninsula), roughly 30–50 minutes from Ngurah Rai (Denpasar) International Airport depending on traffic. Access by car, scooter, or taxi; parking available at the top of the stairs. Limited accessibility: steep stair descent (approx. 150–200 steps) means not suitable for people with mobility issues or small children without supervision.
Recommended Duration
2–4 hours to descend, explore, snorkel (if calm), relax, and return — longer if combining with other Bukit Peninsula sites
Clothing & Gear Tips
Bring sturdy shoes for the stairs, reef shoes for rocky/shallow reef areas, swimwear, sunscreen, hat, and plenty of water. Pack light — you must carry items up and down the stairs.
Local Food & Souvenirs
There are limited vendors at the beach; buy food or water before descent. Nearby Ungasan/Uluwatu areas offer cafes and warungs. Souvenirs to look for: Balinese sarongs, local handicrafts, and small wood carvings from nearby markets.
