Shipwreck dive at the Victory Wreck
Victory Wreck is a popular, easily accessible wreck dive located just off Hulhulé Island near Malé in North Malé (Kaafu) Atoll. The site features a sunken ship lying on a sandy bottom with abundant marine growth and marine life attracted to the structure. The wreck offers an exciting mix of scenic swim-throughs, macro and pelagic sightings, and is suitable for advanced open water divers and guided intermediate divers.

Tips
Bring your logbook and certification card — operators will check credentials.
Use reef-safe sunscreen and rinse equipment to protect coral life.
If photographing, bring proper dive lights and a wide-angle housing or lens for structural shots; secure all camera gear.
Consider renting a SMB and reef hook if planning drift segments with current.
Book dives in the morning for typically better visibility and calmer conditions.
Check with your operator about depth and penetration rules before planning to enter the wreck.
Bring cash for park or landing fees, tips, and small purchases — some operators accept card but cash can be more convenient.
If you're prone to seasickness, take preventative measures (medication, ginger) before the boat trip.
