Mount Erciyes (Erciyes Dağı) is a dominant stratovolcano rising to 3,917 m in central Anatolia near Kayseri. Regular roads connect Kayseri and Erciyes year-round, though heavy snow may require chains or 4x4 transport. Public minibuses and private shuttles run from Kayseri; many hotels arrange transfers. The gondola/cable car provides rapid access from the resort base to higher slopes.
