Arrival & Transfer to Manali — Settle In and Explore
Arrive at your entry point (Chandigarh/Pathankot/Delhi — advised arrival by morning) and drive to Manali through scenic mountain roads. Check in to your hotel and unwind. In the evening, take a relaxed stroll through the Manali Mall Road and sample local Himachali cuisine.
Tip: Allow for a relaxed travel pace on arrival day to acclimatize. Road travel times vary by season.
White Water Rafting on the Beas — Thrills & Local Sightseeing
After breakfast, head to the rafting launch site near Kullu/Manali for a guided white water rafting session on the Beas River. Experience rapids ranging from Grade II–IV (depending on stretch and season). Trained guides, life jackets, helmets, and safety briefing are included. Post-rafting, enjoy lunch and return to Manali for an optional visit to Solang Valley or local craft markets.
Important: Rafting runs depend on river flow and weather. Participants should follow guides' safety instructions.
Drive to Bir — Culture & Preparation for Flight
Check out after breakfast and drive to Bir-Billing (approx. 5–6 hours). On arrival, check in and take a short orientation walk around the quiet Tibetan colony and cafes. Attend a pre-flight briefing from the paragliding operators and rest early to be ready for the next day.
Note: The drive offers beautiful tea gardens and pine forests — keep your camera handy.
Paragliding at Bir-Billing — Tandem Flight Experience
Today is the highlight: tandem paragliding at Billing (launch site) with a certified pilot. Transfer to the launch point, receive a safety briefing, and enjoy a scenic tandem flight over the valley — typical flight times vary from 15 to 45 minutes depending on conditions. After landing in Bir, celebrate with photos and optional short hikes or a visit to a local monastery.
Safety note: Paragliding is weather-dependent. Weight limits and health requirements apply — please check with the operator before booking.
Return & Departure — Drop to Transit Hub
After breakfast, check out and begin your return transfer to Chandigarh/Pathankot/Delhi (transfer time varies by route). Arrive at the transit hub in time for onward travel. If time permits, stop en route for local shopping or short sightseeing.
Tip: Confirm departure times and road conditions in advance; seasonal road closures can affect itineraries.
