Arrival — Transfer to Pahalgam & Riverside Leisure
Arrive at Srinagar Airport (or Srinagar railway station) and drive to Pahalgam (approx. 2.5 - 3 hours). Check in to your hotel or riverside cottage. Spend the afternoon unwinding by the Lidder River, taking short walks, and enjoying a welcome dinner featuring Kashmiri cuisine. If arrival is early, optional short stroll to the local market for crafts and shawls.
Trout Fishing Experience & Riverside Picnic
After breakfast, enjoy a guided trout fishing session on the Lidder River with local experts. Fishing gear and basic permits are provided (see inclusions). Post-lunch, have a relaxed picnic on the riverbank with views of pine-clad slopes. Evening free for leisure — optional short horse ride to nearby scenic points.
Day Excursion to Betaab Valley & Baisaran (Mini Switzerland)
Head out after breakfast to Betaab Valley for a family-friendly picnic amid vivid meadows and towering deodar trees. Continue to Baisaran, a lush meadow often called Mini Switzerland, reachable by pony ride or a short trek. Return to Pahalgam for an evening cultural program or a relaxed bonfire (seasonal). Wear comfortable shoes for meadow walks.
Aru Valley & Chandanwari — Scenic Landscapes & Picnics
Drive to Aru Valley—a quieter, less-crowded valley perfect for family picnics, easy nature trails, and photography. If season and accessibility permit, visit Chandanwari, the starting point for the famous Amarnath Yatra, and enjoy panoramic views. Leisure Morning & Departure to Srinagar
