Arrival in Srinagar, Shikara Ride & Local Markets
Arrive at Srinagar Airport and transfer to your selected houseboat or hotel on the banks of Dal Lake. After check-in and a brief rest, enjoy a serene shikara ride on Dal Lake — glide past floating gardens and local life. In the late afternoon, visit the bustling Lal Chowk and nearby local markets to browse Kashmiri shawls, handicrafts, and dry fruits.
Evening: Relax on the houseboat with a warm Kashmiri meal.

Srinagar: Mughal Gardens & Heritage Walk
After breakfast, set out for a day of classic Srinagar sightseeing. Visit the UNESCO-inspired Mughal Gardens — Shalimar Bagh and Nishat Bagh — famous for terraced lawns and views over Dal Lake. Continue to Pari Mahal for panoramic vistas of the valley and a photo stop at Hazratbal Shrine. Spend the evening exploring local bazaars and trying Kashmiri specialties like kahwa (green tea).
Evening: Return to your houseboat/hotel for dinner and overnight.
Tip: Carry a small umbrella or windproof jacket during spring and autumn.
Drive to Gulmarg, Check-in & First Gondola Experience
After breakfast, drive approx. 1.5–2 hours to Gulmarg via the charming town of Tangmarg. Check in at your Gulmarg hotel and relax. Post lunch, take your first ride on the Gulmarg Gondola (Phase I) to enjoy sweeping views of the meadows and pine-clad slopes. If weather and timings permit, proceed to Phase II for higher altitude views and stunning panoramas.
Evening: Leisure time to stroll the meadows, enjoy a quiet tea at a local cafe, and photograph the golden hour over the valley.
Note: Gondola rides are weather-dependent; Phase II may be closed in heavy snow or winds.
Full Day in Gulmarg: Meadows, Activities & Local Exploration
Spend a relaxed full day in Gulmarg. Options include: taking additional Gondola rides for photography, exploring the Gulmarg Golf Course (one of the highest in the world), pony rides across the meadows, or short nature walks ideal for couples and honeymooners. In winter, enjoy snow activities (skiing/snowboarding) through licensed operators. Explore small local markets in the evening for Pashmina shawls and local snacks.
Evening: Romantic dinner at the hotel and overnight stay in Gulmarg.
Tip: For honeymooners, request a private table or room decoration in advance.
Return to Srinagar & Departure
After a leisurely breakfast, check out and drive back to Srinagar. If time permits before your departure flight, stop for last-minute shopping or a quick visit to any missed attractions. Transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward journey.
Important: Confirm your flight timing and allow at least 3 hours for road transfer and airport check-in during peak season.
