Located in central Srinagar and reachable by road. Nearest airport: Sheikh ul-Alam International Airport (Srinagar) ~15–20 km. Local transport options include taxis, shared cabs and buses. The nearest major railhead for long-distance trains is Jammu Tawi (road or air links recommended from there).

Plan 1–4 hours to explore Lal Chowk and its markets; half a day if combining with a walk through the Old City or a short Dal Lake visit.
