Itinerary
Arrival in Shimla & Leisure Evening
Arrive at your pick-up point (Chandigarh/Manali airport or railway station) and drive to Shimla. Check into the hotel and relax. Enjoy an evening stroll on the Mall Road and visit the Christ Church for a peaceful atmosphere. Tip: Keep the first day light to recover from travel and adjust to altitude.
Shimla: Jakhu & Local Temples
Morning visit to Jakhu Temple (Hanuman) with panoramic views of the Shivalik ranges. Later explore Viceregal Lodge (exterior) and the local temples of Shimla for a gentle introduction to Himachali devotional culture. Evening free for personal puja or meditation.
Journey to Jawalamukhi (Palampur) & Darshan
After breakfast depart for the sacred Jwalamukhi Temple — one of the most revered Himachal pilgrimage sites. Perform darshan at the perpetually flaming shrine and explore nearby devotional spots in Palampur / Kangra valley. Overnight in the Dharamshala region.
Dharamshala: Dalai Lama Temple & Bhagsu Nag
Visit the Dalai Lama Temple Complex and the peaceful Namgyal Monastery in McLeodganj. Later, proceed to Bhagsunag Temple & Falls and spend time in contemplative surroundings. Evening visit to local markets for Tibetan handicrafts. Note: Respect monastery silence rules during prayer hours.
Norbulingka Institute, Kangra Fort & Baijnath Temple

Transfer to Dalhousie & Local Sightseeing

Departure — Transfer to Chandigarh/Delhi
