Arrive in Istanbul and transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay. Depending on your international flight arrival time, enjoy a short orientation and optional evening stroll around the historic Sultanahmet or Taksim area. No strenuous activities today — rest and prepare for an early departure to Cappadocia tomorrow.
Fly to Cappadocia — Göreme Panorama & Sunset View
Early morning domestic flight from Istanbul to Nevşehir or Kayseri airport. Transfer to Cappadocia and check in to your cave hotel. After freshening up, explore the Göreme Open-Air Museum with its ancient rock-cut churches and frescoes. Afternoon at leisure; finish the day at a scenic viewpoint for a sunset over the fairy chimneys. Wear comfortable shoes for uneven stone pathways.
Sunrise Hot Air Balloon & Red Tour Highlights
Pre-dawn pickup for the signature Hot Air Balloon ride (approx. 1 hour) drifting over the Fairy Chimneys, pigeon houses, and the dramatic valleys of Cappadocia — a highlight of any Turkey tour package. Return to the hotel for breakfast. Visit Derinkuyu or Kaymakli Underground City, wander the lush Ihlara Valley with a riverside walk and lunch in the valley, and conclude at the dramatic Selime Monastery and panoramic viewpoints. Return to your hotel for a final evening in Cappadocia. Moderate walking required; bring a light jacket for cooler canyon breezes.
Departure: Transfer to Airport via Optional Short Stop
Enjoy a relaxed morning — optional short visits (last-minute shopping in Ürgüp or a quick viewpoint). Transfer to Nevşehir/Kayseri airport for your domestic flight back to Istanbul to connect with your international departure, or continue onward.
