Itinerary
Arrival in Cappadocia — Settle in & Sunset View
Arrival at Kayseri Nevşehir Airport (or Kayseri). Transfer to your Göreme/Uçhisar hotel. Light orientation walk through Göreme town. Evening at a panoramic viewpoint to watch the sunset over the fairy chimneys and valleys. Welcome meeting with your guide to review the week's active schedule and safety briefing for hikes and biking.
Tip: If your flight arrives early, consider adding a guided village walk or short introductory bike ride.
Sunrise Balloon Option & Red & Rose Valley Hike
Optional early-morning hot-air balloon transfer (book in advance) to watch sunrise over the lunar landscape — a signature Cappadocia experience. After breakfast, embark on a guided hike through the Red Valley and Rose Valley with stops at rock-cut churches and panoramic viewpoints. Afternoon free to relax or explore local pottery and carpet shops.
Note: Balloons are weather-dependent; if canceled, the day's hike and a valley e-bike option remain.
Caving & Underground Exploration — Kaymaklı or Derinkuyu
Drive to one of the region's subterranean wonders: Derinkuyu Underground City (or Kaymaklı depending on route). Guided exploration through tunnels, stables, wineries and communal chambers carved into the volcanic rock. Afternoon caving workshop or optional ATV ride across valleys. Evening free to sample Anatolian cuisine at a local restaurant.
Important: Underground passages can be narrow and cool — bring layered clothing and sturdy shoes.
Biking Day: Valleys & Villages
Morning guided bike tour (e-bike options available) covering panoramic trails, fairy chimneys and off-the-beaten-track hamlets. Lunch at a countryside picnic spot. Afternoon visit to Uçhisar Castle for sweeping vistas and photo opportunities. Evening optional Turkish night with folk music and dance.
Fitness: Moderate. E-bikes recommended for mixed-terrain sections.
Transfer to Ihlara Valley — Selime Monastery
After breakfast, transfer south toward the Ihlara Valley. En route stop at panoramic viewpoints and small agricultural towns. Explore Selime Monastery, a dramatic rock-cut cathedral complex at the valley entrance. Check into a cozy guesthouse near Ihlara for a restful evening.
Travel note: Road transfer ~1.5–2 hours from central Cappadocia depending on route.
Ihlara Valley Hike & Belisirma Riverside Lunch
Full-day guided hike along the Ihlara Valley gorge — a green ribbon of riverine landscape punctuated by Byzantine cave churches and frescoes. Stop at Belisirma village for a riverside lunch. Late afternoon short drive to Kaymaklı Underground City area for a deeper look or additional exploration as desired.
Note: Hike involves stairs and uneven trails — good walking shoes and water recommended.
Konya & Mevlana — Cultural Immersion
Morning transfer to Konya, the spiritual heart of Sufi tradition. Visit the Mevlana Museum (Rumi's mausoleum) and the Ince Minaret Madrasa. Afternoon walking tour of Konya's historic center and free time to taste traditional 'etli ekmek' and shop. Evening stay in Konya with optional Whirling Dervishes performance (seasonal).
Tip: Konya can be conservative; dress respectfully when visiting religious sites.
Departure — Return to Kayseri or Konya Airport
After breakfast, transfer to Kayseri or Konya Airport for your onward flight. If time permits, stop en route at pottery workshops or a scenic overlook for last-minute photos. Farewell and end of the 7-night Turkey Adventure package.

Turkey Itinerary Built Around Two People's Wishlist
My husband and I had been wanting to do Turkey for two years but kept putting it off because planning felt overwhelming. A friend suggested TourGrids, so I dropped them a message and within the day we were on a call. The coordinator actually asked what we cared about — Cappadocia was non-negotiable for me, he wanted the coastal side — and they built the whole itinerary around that. No generic package, everything felt thought through. Hotels were proper good, transfers were pre-arranged, and there were no surprise charges at the end. Whenever I had a random query on WhatsApp, someone replied quickly. The whole booking process genuinely took less effort than I expected.
Turkey Cost Far Less Than Going Alone
I'd spent two weeks building my own Turkey itinerary — comparing hotels in Istanbul, figuring out transfers to Cappadocia, checking flight combinations. Then a friend mentioned TourGrids, I called them, and within a day they had a package ready that was actually cheaper than what I'd priced myself. Traveled with my wife for nine nights. Hotels were proper good — central locations, breakfast included, no compromises. All intercity transfers were taken care of, and our coordinator was reachable on WhatsApp throughout. No hidden charges, nothing vague in the final invoice. What I appreciated most was the transparency — they told me exactly what was and wasn't covered before I paid a single rupee.
Turkey Package Price Left Me Genuinely Surprised
I had spent almost two weeks trying to piece together a Turkey trip on my own — flights, Istanbul hotels, Cappadocia stay, transfers — and the numbers just weren't adding up. A friend suggested TourGrids, and after one detailed call and a few WhatsApp exchanges, they put together a package that was actually cheaper than what I had built myself. Travelled with my husband, and everything was covered — decent hotels, all intercity transfers, breakfast included at most stays. No hidden charges when we got the final invoice, which honestly surprised me. The coordinator was reachable throughout and answered questions without making us feel like we were bothering anyone. Solid experience overall.
Turkey Hotels and Cabs Both Genuinely Impressed Us
We were a couple travelling to Turkey for the first time and honestly had no idea where to start with planning. A friend suggested TourGrids and after a couple of WhatsApp conversations, we just handed everything over to them. The hotels they picked were proper good — well-located, clean, and clearly not random budget options. In Istanbul the property had a Bosphorus view we weren't even expecting. Cab transfers between cities were always on time, drivers were polite, and we never had that anxious 'where is our ride' feeling even once. No surprise charges at checkout either. Our coordinator kept us updated at every leg. Turkey felt genuinely relaxed because the ground arrangements were so solid.
Turkey Hotel Change Sorted Before We Unpacked
We landed in Istanbul and found out the hotel we'd booked had some kind of maintenance issue — rooms weren't ready and the property looked nothing like the photos. I called our TourGrids coordinator immediately and honestly expected the usual back-and-forth. Instead, within 40 minutes he had us shifted to a better property nearby, same area, no extra charge. My wife was already tired from the flight and this could have ruined day one completely. The rest of the Turkey trip — Cappadocia, Pamukkale, everything — went exactly as planned. No hidden charges, no surprises. Just solid planning and someone actually available when it mattered.
First Big Trip Abroad and Nothing Went Wrong
Honestly, I was very nervous about handing over our Turkey plans to a company I'd only spoken to on WhatsApp. My husband and I had never booked through an agency before — always did everything ourselves. But from the first call with TourGrids, it felt like they actually listened. The itinerary covered Cappadocia, Istanbul, Pamukkale — all the places we'd discussed. Hotels were proper good, cabs were on time, and there were no surprise charges at the end. Our coordinator checked in at every stop without us having to follow up. That peace of mind, especially for a first international trip as a couple, was genuinely worth it.
