Itinerary
Arrival in Kochi — Welcome to Kerala
Arrive at Cochin International Airport and meet your private driver. Transfer to your boutique/5-star hotel in Fort Kochi. Spend the afternoon exploring the historic quarter: Chinese Fishing Nets, St. Francis Church, Dutch Palace (Mattancherry Palace) and the atmospheric Jew Town with its spice shops and antiques. Evening at leisure with a curated welcome dinner showcasing Keralan cuisine.
Tip: Carry a light jacket for coastal breezes and a reusable water bottle.
Kochi to Munnar — Scenic Drive into the Western Ghats
After breakfast, drive approximately 4–5 hours to Munnar, passing rubber plantations and scenic viewpoints. Check in to a luxury tea-bungalow or resort. Afternoon at leisure or a short walk through tea gardens. Evening spice tasting and a private chef demonstration (optional).
Note: The drive includes winding mountain roads; travel times vary with traffic.
Munnar — Tea, Views and Eravikulam
Full-day exploration of Munnar: visit Eravikulam National Park (home to the Nilgiri Tahr), Mattupetty Dam, Echo Point, and the Tea Museum. Enjoy panoramic viewpoints and a guided tea estate tour with tastings. Return to your resort for dinner prepared by your private chef or the hotel kitchen.
Important: Entry to Eravikulam is seasonal and requires advance tickets — we can arrange prior bookings.
Munnar to Thekkady — Spice Trails & Wildlife
Drive to Thekkady (Periyar) after breakfast. Check in to a luxury eco-lodge or heritage resort. Participate in a guided spice plantation walk, learn about pepper, cardamom and vanilla, and enjoy a traditional Kerala cooking demo if scheduled. In the evening, optional cultural performances like Kathakali or Kalaripayattu.
Tip: Spice plantation visits are excellent for photography and purchasing fresh spices directly from growers.
Periyar Lake Boat Cruise — Wildlife & Village Life
Morning boat cruise on Periyar Lake to spot elephants, deer and rich birdlife along the forest edge. After lunch, drive to Alleppey (Alappuzha) — the gateway to Kerala backwaters. Board your private luxury houseboat with chef in late afternoon, and begin a tranquil cruise through palm-lined canals and paddy fields. Evening dinner on board featuring freshly cooked Keralan specialties.

Backwaters & Village Canoe Ride — Immersive Houseboat Day
Spend a full day cruising on your private houseboat. Glide past villages, coir-making workshops and lush paddy fields. Arrive at quiet canals for a guided canoe ride (vallam or shikara) into narrower waterways to meet locals and observe daily life. Chef prepares fresh seafood and local vegetarian dishes onboard.
Important: Houseboat routes are flexible — we tailor pace and stops to your preference.
Disembark & Transfer to Kovalam — Beach Time Begins
Disembark from the houseboat after breakfast and drive to Kovalam Beach (approx. 3–4 hours). Check in to a beachfront resort. Spend the afternoon on Lighthouse Beach, swimming or enjoying an Ayurvedic massage (optional). Sunset at the promontory and a seafood dinner at a seaside restaurant or resort.
Tip: Kovalam is one of the best spots in Kerala for sunset views — bring swimwear and sun protection.
Kovalam — Relaxation & Departure
Morning at leisure on Kovalam Beach — optional yoga, Ayurvedic spa treatments or a short trip to Trivandrum for the Padmanabhaswamy Temple and local markets. After lunch, transfer to Trivandrum International Airport (Thiruvananthapuram) for your onward flight.
