Itinerary
Arrival, Check-in and Evening Nature Orientation
Arrive at Ramnagar Railway Station / Pantnagar Airport and meet your private transfer. Proceed to your resort near Corbett National Park and complete check-in formalities. After lunch, enjoy a relaxed orientation session with our naturalist covering park rules, wildlife spotting tips and the schedule for upcoming safaris. In the evening, take a guided resort nature walk and short birdwatching session as the sun sets.
Recommended: Carry light binoculars and comfortable walking shoes.
Morning Jeep Safari & Corbett Museum Visit
Wake early for your first Jeep Safari into the Corbett zone allocated for the day (commonly Bijrani or Jhirna, subject to permits). Spend 3–4 hours searching for wildlife — keep an eye out for tigers, elephants, deer and the rich birdlife. Return to the resort for lunch and a rest.
In the afternoon, visit Corbett Museum in Ramnagar to learn about the park’s history and Jim Corbett’s legacy, followed by a stroll through the local market for souvenirs.
Safari timings and zone allocation depend on forest department permits.
Elephant / Additional Safari and Garjiya Devi Temple
Begin early with an optional Elephant Safari (subject to availability and season) or a second Jeep Safari for deeper wildlife viewing. Midday return to the resort for rest.
In the late afternoon, visit Garjiya Devi Temple perched on a rock by the Kosi River — a peaceful spiritual stop with scenic river views. On the way back, stop at Corbett Waterfall for photos and a short walk.
Important: Elephant safaris are seasonal and depend on forest regulations; if unavailable, an additional jeep safari or guided nature walk will be arranged.
Kosi River Rafting, Sitabani Birdwatching and Cultural Evening
After breakfast, head to the Kosi River for a family-friendly rafting experience — gentle stretches suitable for beginners and children (safety briefing and life-jackets provided). Post-rafting, enjoy a relaxed picnic lunch by the river.
In the afternoon, visit Sitabani Forest Reserve for guided birdwatching and a quiet nature walk; Sitabani is famed for rich avifauna and occasional large mammals near the buffer zones.
Return to the resort for an evening cultural program (folk music / local dance) and dinner.
Safety Note: Rafting is organized on gentle grades ideal for families; participation is subject to health and minimum age restrictions.
Morning Birdwatching, Checkout and Departure
Early morning birdwatching or a short guided nature walk around the resort grounds to catch last glimpses of Corbett’s wildlife. Return to the resort for breakfast, complete checkout formalities and transfer to Ramnagar Railway Station / Pantnagar Airport for your onward journey.
Tip: If your schedule allows, extend to a Dhikala overnight experience (special permits required) or add extra safaris for a deeper wilderness immersion.
