Itinerary
Arrival at Almora & Leisurely Evening
Arrive in Almora, meet your driver/representative and transfer to your hotel. Settle in and relax. In the late afternoon take a gentle walk to Bright End Corner for spectacular views of the Kumaon hills and the sunset. Explore the charming Almora market with its handicrafts and local snacks.
Tip: Carry a light jacket — evenings can be breezy.
Activities include hotel check-in, short heritage walk, and sunset viewpoint visit.
Almora Local Sightseeing & Transfer to Kausani
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning visiting local attractions around Almora — including the Kasaar Devi Temple (optional visit) and panoramic viewpoints overlooking the Himalayas. Later drive to Kausani (approx. 2.5–3 hours), en route visiting the historic Katarmal Sun Temple.
On arrival in Kausani, check-in and spend the evening at the Kausani Sunset Point or taking a short nature walk.
Note: The Katarmal Sun Temple requires a brief walk; wear comfortable shoes.
Kausani Sunrise & Local Exploration
Rise early for the unforgettable Kausani Sunrise Point — a clear morning offers uninterrupted views of Nanda Devi, Trishul, and Panchachuli ranges. Return for breakfast and then explore the Anashakti Ashram and the nearby tea gardens. Spend the afternoon on easy nature walks or relaxing at the hotel with mountain views.
Ideal for family photos and relaxed exploration; avoid strenuous hikes if traveling with elderly family members.
Leisurely Checkout & Departure
