Arrival & Cellular Jail Experience
Arrive at Port Blair (Veer Savarkar International Airport/Harbour). Transfer to your hotel and relax after your journey. In the evening, visit the iconic Cellular Jail for the Light & Sound Show — a moving, family-friendly presentation about India's history. Return to the hotel for an early night to prepare for island transfers.
Important: Inter-island ferry schedules vary; morning departures may be required on day 2. Carry a light daypack and copies of IDs.
Transfer to Havelock — Beach Time & Sunset
Early morning ferry to Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep). Check in and unwind. Afternoon visit to Radhanagar Beach (often rated among Asia's best) for swimming, sandcastle building, and a spectacular sunset. Families can enjoy shallow waters and long, soft-sand stretches—ideal for kids to explore safely.
Tip: Radhanagar has lifeguards at popular stretches; still supervise children closely.
Kaleidoscopic Snorkel Adventure at Elephant Beach
Full day dedicated to the highlight: supervised snorkeling at Elephant Beach. A short glass-bottom boat ride transfers you to the snorkeling zone where certified guides conduct a safety briefing and assist children with masks and life vests. Explore shallow coral gardens teeming with colorful fish—ideal for first-time snorkelers.
Alternate: For younger kids or non-swimmers, enjoy the glass-bottom boat tour and beach play while parents snorkel.
Safety Note: All snorkeling includes child-size life vests, a trained guide per small group, and on-site first-aid kits.
Explore Neil Island: Snorkel & Family Beach Day
Ferry to Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep) after breakfast. A relaxed day of beach-hopping—Bharatpur Beach for shallow snorkel-friendly reefs, Laxmanpur Beach for sunset and rock formations, and Sitapur Beach for a gentle early-morning walk (optional next-day). Enjoy picnic-style meals or local seafood at family-friendly cafés.
Note: Neil Island is quieter and ideal for kids to explore tidal pools and rock pools safely.
Return to Port Blair & Departure
Morning ferry back to Port Blair. Depending on your flight schedule, a short city tour or souvenir shopping at Aberdeen Bazaar is possible. Transfer to the airport with cherished memories of coral gardens and family snorkeling adventures.
Important: Allow at least 3–4 hours between the arrival ferry time and your flight to manage transfers and check-in.
