Itinerary
Arrival & Port Blair Orientation
Arrive at Port Blair Airport and transfer to the hotel. Relax, charge gear and attend a short briefing focused on shoot schedules, tide timings and underwater safety. In the evening visit Cellular Jail for the iconic Light & Sound Show (great for dusk and low-light wide-angle shots). Tip: Keep camera batteries charged and carry a compact tripod for low-light capture.
Ferry to Havelock — Sunset at Radhanagar
Morning express ferry to Havelock (Swaraj Dweep). Check-in and prepare for golden-hour shore shoots. Spend late afternoon and sunset at Radhanagar Beach — consistently rated among Asia's best beaches and perfect for long-exposure seascapes and portrait silhouettes. Note: Ferry timings are subject to change; confirm a day prior.
Underwater Shoots & Snorkeling at Elephant Beach
Early-morning transfer by boat to Elephant Beach for snorkeling and underwater photography — capture corals, reef fish and crystal-clear visibility zones. Options include glass-bottom boat rides and guided snorkeling sessions. Afternoon reserved for editing, backup and golden-hour return to Radhanagar for beach portraits. Important: Use reef-safe sunscreen and waterproof housing for your camera.
Sunrise Shoots & Transfer to Neil Island
Pre-dawn shoot at Kalapathar Beach for dramatic sunrise seascapes. Return to hotel, check out and take an afternoon ferry to Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep). Evening shore shoots at Bharatpur Beach — excellent shallow-water compositions and opportunities for underwater macro/close-up portraits. Tip: Low tide windows are best for shallow reef compositions.
Laxmanpur, Natural Bridge & Return to Port Blair
Sunrise and wide-angle sessions at Laxmanpur Beach including the famed Natural Bridge rock formation. Midday transfer back to Port Blair by ferry. Evening free — optional revisit to Cellular Jail area for nightscapes or street/market photography. Note: Carry extra memory cards and a small dry-bag for quick shore shoots.
Ross Island, North Bay & Departure
Half-day boat trip to Ross Island (colonial ruins and moody architecture ideal for dramatic frames) and North Bay / Coral Island for final snorkeling or glass-bottom boat underwater captures before transfer to the airport for onward flight. Ensure all gear is packed and battery banks charged; plan 2-hour buffer for airport check-in.
