Itinerary
Arrival, Welcome & Ahmedabad Orientation
Arrive at Ahmedabad (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport/Railway Station). Meet your representative and transfer to the hotel. After a short rest, enjoy an orientation drive and half-day sightseeing focused on spiritual and heritage sites. Visit Sabarmati Ashram for a calm, reflective start and optionally see Akshardham Temple (time permitting). Early arrival recommended to avoid travel pressure on Day 2. Evening at leisure with overnight stay in Ahmedabad.
Palitana: Climb Shatrunjaya & Temple Darshan
Drive to Bhavnagar / Palitana (approx. 4-5 hours from Ahmedabad). After arrival, prepare for the pilgrimage to Shatrunjaya (Palitana Temples) — one of the holiest Jain temple complexes with hundreds of marble temples perched on the hill. Guests may choose to climb (approx. 3500 steps) or take a licensed palanquin/electric cart where available. Spend ample time for darshan, photography, and absorbing the spirituality of the hilltop complex. Return to Bhavnagar/Palitana for overnight.
Tip: Carry comfortable walking shoes, water, sun protection, and modest clothing for temple visits.
Junagadh & Girnar Pilgrimage
After breakfast, drive to Junagadh (approx. 3-4 hours). Explore the sacred Girnar Hills temples — a revered spot for both Jain and Hindu pilgrims. Visit the climactic temples on Girnar foothills or undertake the trek for dedicated pilgrims. Also visit Uparkot Fort, the ancient step-wells, and local temples. Evening at leisure with overnight stay in Junagadh.
Note: The Girnar climb is steep; non-climbers can visit the foothill temples and local heritage sites.
Somnath: Jyotirlinga Darshan & Aarti
Depart early to Somnath (approx. 3-4 hours). Arrive at the sacred Somnath Temple, one of the 12 Jyotirlingas. Attend darshan and, if timing permits, witness the soulful evening Aarti at the temple and the nearby Triveni Sangam where rivers meet the Arabian Sea. Explore the Somnath museum and light a candle/offerings as per tradition. Overnight stay in Somnath/Veraval.
Tip: Follow temple dress codes and arrive early for smoother darshan queues.
Porbandar En-route & Arrival in Dwarka
Leave Somnath early for a scenic drive to Dwarka (approx. 6-7 hours). En route, stop at Porbandar to visit Kirti Mandir (birthplace of Mahatma Gandhi) and enjoy a brief coastal break. Continue to Dwarka, check in to the hotel and relax. This is a long-drive day — private vehicle recommended. Overnight stay in Dwarka.
Dwarka Darshan & Departure
Full day dedicated to Dwarka darshan. Visit the iconic Dwarkadhish Temple, take a boat trip to Bet Dwarka (boat subject to weather and timings) to see ancient shrines, and visit Nageshwar Jyotirlinga. Conclude with a final aarti at Dwarkadhish (timing permitting). After darshan, transfer to Rajkot/Ahmedabad/Porbandar for onward journey or drop at Dwarka station/airport as per your departure plan.
Important: Departure arrangements can be customized — overnight trains/flight connections available from Rajkot or Jamnagar. Inform us in advance for transfers.
