Arrival, Transfer to Dalhousie and Evening Leisure
Arrive at Pathankot railway station / airport and drive to Dalhousie (approx. 1.5–2 hours). Check in to your hotel and relax. In the evening enjoy a leisurely walk at Gandhi Chowk and take in panoramic sunset views from nearby viewpoints.
Tip: Carry a light jacket — evenings can be cool even in summer.
Dalhousie Heritage Walk & Churches
Explore the colonial-era charm of Dalhousie with a colonial heritage walk in Dalhousie. Visit the iconic St. John's Church, stroll through Subhash Baoli and Panchpula, and stop at viewpoints such as Dainkund Peak for sweeping Himalayan vistas. Afternoon at leisure for shopping or optional short treks to nearby trails.
Important: Wear comfortable walking shoes for cobbled lanes and short ascents.
Khajjiar — Mini Switzerland Excursion
Day trip to Khajjiar (approx. 1 hour from Dalhousie), known as the 'Mini Switzerland of India'. Enjoy the lush Khajjiar Lake and central meadow; optional activities include pony rides, zorbing (seasonal) and nature trails in Kalatop Wildlife Sanctuary nearby. Return to Dalhousie for an overnight stay.
Note: Khajjiar is a high-altitude meadow — avoid loud noises and respect local fauna.
Scenic Drive to Chamba, Afternoon Orientation
After breakfast, depart Dalhousie for Chamba via scenic hill roads (approx. 3–4 hours). En route enjoy vistas of pine forests and terraced fields. On arrival check in and take an orientation walk in the local market. Visit the riverside and relax; evening free for leisure.

Chamba Temples, Palace & Bhuri Singh Museum

Chamera Lake Visit & Departure
