Arrive at Ahmedabad (Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport/railway station). Transfer to your hotel and relax. In the afternoon, enjoy a gentle introduction to the city: visit Sabarmati Ashram, the home of Mahatma Gandhi, followed by a drive past the colonial and commercial districts. Evening at Kankaria Lake for a family-friendly promenade and optional light-and-sound show.

Ahmedabad Heritage Day & Old City Walk
Full-day exploring the rich heritage of Ahmedabad. Begin with a guided Old City Heritage Walk covering the lanes around Bhadra Fort, the Jama Masjid, and the intricate stone latticework of Sidi Saiyyed Mosque. Visit the Calico Museum of Textiles (advance booking recommended) or the Lothal/PRL optional museum time. Enjoy local Gujarati cuisine for lunch and an evening at leisure—option for a Rann Utsav-style cultural performance at the hotel (seasonal/subject to availability).

Drive to Patan — Rani ki Vav & Patola Weaving
After breakfast, drive to Patan (approx. 2.5—3 hours). Visit the magnificent Rani ki Vav (UNESCO World Heritage Site) — a deep stepwell adorned with sculptural panels. Explore the historic town center and visit a Patola weaving centre to see the traditional double ikat silk weaving techniques unique to the region. Evening at leisure in Patan; enjoy traditional Gujarati thali for dinner.

Modhera Sun Temple & Village Sights
Post-breakfast transfer to Modhera (approx. 1—1.5 hours). Explore the iconic Modhera Sun Temple and the adjacent Surya Kund with its ornate steps and carved panels. Option to visit nearby craft villages or a local farm for cultural interaction and photography. After sightseeing, drive back towards Ahmedabad with a relaxed evening in the city.

Departure from Ahmedabad — Shopping & Farewell
