Arrival in Srinagar & Sunset Shikara on Dal Lake
Arrive at Srinagar Airport and transfer to your houseboat or lakeside hotel. Relax and freshen up. In the late afternoon, enjoy a relaxing Shikara ride on Dal Lake to capture reflections and the changing light. Visit the Shankaracharya Temple viewpoint for panoramic city and lake vistas at sunset. Evening at leisure with an optional walk through local markets.

Sunrise Over Dal Lake & Transfer to Gulmarg
Start before dawn for an early-morning Shikara ride to photograph the iconic sunrise over Dal Lake — floating gardens, houseboats, and local life (floating markets in season). Return to the hotel for breakfast and check-out. Drive to Gulmarg (approx. 2–2.5 hours), arriving by early afternoon. Explore the Gulmarg meadows and capture sweeping views of the surrounding peaks.
Highlight: Sunset frames over the meadows are spectacular; look for wildflowers (seasonal) and grazing horses.
Gondola Ride & Mountain Vistas
Take the Gulmarg Gondola (Phase I and optional Phase II) up to Apharwat Peak for panoramic mountain vistas and high-altitude photography. Capture close-ups of snowfields, ridges, and, if in season, winter sports action. Afternoon free for meadow walks, horse/pony rides, or focused landscape sessions.
Note: Phase II of the Gondola may have additional charges and seasonal closures. Carry warm layers and protective gear for your camera.
Drive to Pahalgam — Lidder River & Valley Views
After breakfast, drive to Pahalgam (approx. 3–4 hours) — a scenic journey through pine forests and riverside vistas. On arrival, explore the Lidder River banks, Betaab Valley, and Aru/Baisaran Valley for lush valley photography. Capture late-afternoon light on the river meanders and alpine glades.
Photography tip: Use a fast telephoto or 70–200mm lens for compressing valley lines and isolating details.
Pahalgam Morning Session & Return to Srinagar — Departure
Early morning for final frames along the river or a short trek for elevated vistas. After breakfast, drive back to Srinagar with an en-route stop at Pampore saffron fields (seasonal) or local viewpoints. Transfer to Srinagar Airport for your onward flight. Trip concludes with cherished photographic memories of Kashmir.
Important: Flight times determine schedule—allow buffer time for traffic and security checks.
