Arrival & Settling into Shimla’s Colonial Charm
Arrive at Shimla (by road from Chandigarh or via Kalka/Shimla train), and transfer to your carefully selected heritage hotel. Relax with a welcome drink and enjoy the hotel's colonial architecture. Later, take an evening stroll to Mall Road and The Ridge, followed by a gourmet welcome dinner at the hotel's signature restaurant.
Note: Transfers can be arranged from Chandigarh airport/railway or Kalka railway station. Please share arrival details 72 hours in advance.
Heritage Walk & Viceregal Lodge Visit
Spend the morning on a curated heritage walk exploring Shimla's colonial past — including Christ Church and historic bungalows. Afternoon visit to the Viceregal Lodge (Indian Institute of Advanced Study) for a guided tour through its grand rooms and gardens. Evening reserved for a private fine-dining experience or themed high tea at a heritage venue.
Tip: Carry a light jacket—mornings and evenings can be chilly even in summer.
Day Trip to Kufri — Nature & Adventure
Short drive to Kufri for a day of alpine charm. Explore the Kufri Himalayan Nature Park, enjoy pony rides or short hikes to vantage points, and try seasonal activities (snow fun in winter or nature trails in summer). Departure & Optional Transfers
After a leisurely breakfast, check out from the heritage hotel. Depending on your onward plans, we'll arrange a private transfer to Chandigarh (airport/railway) or Kalka station. For guests with extended time, optional add-ons include an overnight at Manali or bespoke extensions to a 6–7 night Himachal Honeymoon package.
