Itinerary

Day1

Arrival & Bangkok Street-Food Welcome

Arrive at Bangkok (Suvarnabhumi or Don Mueang Airport) and transfer to your hotel. Settle in, then meet your local culinary guide in the evening for a guided street-food tour through Yaowarat (Chinatown). Sample iconic dishes like pad thai, grilled satay, mango sticky rice, and local desserts while learning about food culture and night-market etiquette.

Includes welcome briefing and recipe booklet.

Day2

Bangkok Market Tour & Half-Day Cooking Class

Morning visit to Or Tor Kor Market (or a selected fresh market) with your chef-guide to shop for ingredients and learn how to select herbs, spices, and produce. Return to the cooking school for a hands-on half-day Thai cooking class where you'll prepare a 4-course Thai menu including a soup, curry, stir-fry, and dessert. Enjoy the meal you cooked together.

Dietary requests accommodated with advance notice.

Day3

Bangkok Cultural Morning & Flight to Chiang Mai

Morning at leisure or optional visit to Wat Pho or the Grand Palace (optional add-on). Transfer to the airport for a short domestic flight to Chiang Mai. Check into your boutique hotel in Chiang Mai's Old City and enjoy a relaxed evening exploring local cafes or the night market for snacks and small bites.

Optional: add a temple tour or Thai massage in the afternoon.

Day4

Chiang Mai Market Tour & Farm-to-Table Cooking Experience

Start early with a guided visit to Warorot Market to discover Northern Thai ingredients—lemongrass, galangal, local chilies, and regional herbs. Travel to a nearby organic farm or cooking school for a full-day, immersive farm-to-table cooking class focusing on Northern specialties (khua kling, sai ua, nam prik). Learn traditional techniques and enjoy a communal lunch with the dishes you prepare.

Bring comfortable shoes and sun protection for the farm visit.

Day5

Northern Desserts & Khantoke Cultural Dinner

Morning dessert-focused class or street-food tour—learn to make Northern sweets and snacks (kanom krok, khanom chan). Afternoon at leisure for shopping or optional spa. In the evening, experience a Khantoke dinner—a traditional Northern Thai banquet served with cultural dance and music. This is a highlight for tasting multiple regional dishes in one setting.

The Khantoke includes vegetarian choices if requested in advance.

Day6

Morning Market Visit & Departure

Early market stroll to pick up last-minute ingredients or souvenirs and a final short cooking demo—learn quick folds and plating tips for weekday dining back home. Transfer to Chiang Mai Airport for your onward flight.

Thailand Felt Personal From the First Call

My husband and I had been going back and forth on Thailand for months but had no idea where to start with the planning. A friend suggested TourGrids, so I dropped them a message on WhatsApp and honestly within the same evening someone from the team called me back. We spoke for maybe 20 minutes and they had a rough itinerary ready the next day. What I liked most was that they actually listened — we wanted fewer touristy spots and more beach time, and they adjusted everything without making it feel like a big deal. Hotels were proper good, all transfers were pre-arranged, and there were no surprise charges at the end. Very clean process throughout.

Thailand Hotels and Cabs Both Came Through

Traveled to Thailand with my wife last month and honestly the accommodations TourGrids arranged were proper good — clean, well-located, breakfast included, no last-minute surprises at check-in. We were a bit skeptical initially since we'd had bad experiences with other agents before, but the properties they picked genuinely felt like they understood what a couple wants. Transfers were equally solid — cabs were always on time, drivers knew the routes, and we never had that anxious 'where is our pickup' moment at any airport or hotel. Our coordinator stayed reachable throughout, sorted a small room-type confusion on call within the hour. No hidden charges when we settled the final amount either.

Thailand Itinerary Built Around Our Actual Pace

My wife and I had been putting off this Thailand trip for two years because planning felt overwhelming. A friend suggested TourGrids, so I messaged them on WhatsApp on a Tuesday evening. By Wednesday afternoon, we were already on a call going through what we actually wanted — slower days in Chiang Mai, less of the usual touristy rush in Bangkok. The coordinator listened properly and reworked the itinerary twice without any fuss. Hotels were proper good, pricing was transparent with no hidden charges, and everything was confirmed well before departure. The whole planning process honestly took less than a week. Felt like someone who knew Thailand well was just helping a friend plan a trip.

Thailand Planning Done Before My Second Call

I had zero idea where to start with Thailand — my husband and I wanted beaches but also a bit of Bangkok. Called TourGrids once, explained what we were looking for, and by the next day they had already sent a rough itinerary on WhatsApp. We went back and forth a couple of times to adjust the days in Krabi, and they just... did it without any fuss. Hotels were proper good, no surprise costs at the end, and everything was clearly laid out before we paid. The coordinator was easy to reach throughout. Honestly did not expect the planning part to feel this relaxed. Will definitely come back for the next trip.
