Arrival in Phuket & Pre-Dive Briefing
Arrive at Phuket International Airport. Transfer to your hotel in Phuket for check-in. Afternoon/evening welcome meeting and dive orientation at the dive center: paperwork, gear check, and a short equipment fitting & safety briefing. Get a chance to explore Patong or the local beach promenade. Overnight in Phuket.
Transfer to Phi Phi Islands & Check Dive
Morning speedboat transfer to the Phi Phi Islands. Check-in at island accommodation and time to settle. Early afternoon: orientation at the Phi Phi dive base followed by a check/refresh dive on a shallow reef to review buoyancy and advanced skills. Evening: island sunset viewpoint walk and briefing for next day's advanced dive plan.
Tip: Keep your dive log, certification card, and medical form handy.
Full-Day Advanced Dives — Bida Nok / Bida Nai
Full-day boat trip focusing on iconic dive sites such as Bida Nok and Bida Nai. Expect 2 advanced dives with options for a deep dive (to plan within your certification limits) and drift sections where strong currents bring pelagic encounters. Look for reef sharks, schooling barracuda, and colorful coral bommies. Lunch is served on the boat with surface intervals at scenic spots.
Important: These sites can have strong currents — good trim and drift skills required.
Big-Feature Sites — Hin Muang & Hin Daeng
Today's expedition visits the towering walls of Hin Muang and Hin Daeng (subject to weather and conditions). These sites are famous for dramatic vertical walls, large gorgonian fans, and possible sightings of manta rays and larger pelagics. Plan for up to 2–3 dives depending on group and conditions. Return to Phi Phi for evening relaxation.
Note: Hin Muang/Hin Daeng are deeper sites — strong current and deep-diving experience recommended.
Underwater Photography Clinic & Specialty Dive
Morning workshop on underwater photography: camera setup, composition tips, and lighting techniques taught by a photo-savvy instructor. Follow with two specialty dives focusing on macro life, crevices, and reef slopes where nudibranchs, crustaceans, and small reef fish thrive. Afternoon free to relax on the beach or take an optional island excursion.
Pro tip: Bring a strobe or video light for best results in colorful reef shots.
Last Morning Dive & Return to Phuket — Departure
Early morning optional dive or snorkel for a final chance to see local marine life. Return to the hotel to pack, check out, and transfer by speedboat back to Phuket. Depending on your flight schedule, enjoy a short stop in Phuket for lunch or shopping before airport transfer.
Note: Allow adequate time for transfers to Phuket International Airport; coordinate flights with the itinerary schedule.
