Itinerary
Arrival in Kathmandu — Welcome & Orientation
Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (Kathmandu) where you'll be met by our representative and transferred to your hotel in Thamel / Kathmandu Valley. Enjoy a welcome briefing and short orientation about the spiritual circuit. If time permits, take a gentle evening walk in Thamel or visit the nearby market.
Accommodation: Hotel in Kathmandu. Meals: No meals included unless specified.
Tip: Keep your arrival documents and visa information handy for immigration. Domestic flights (if booked) can be reconfirmed tonight.
Kathmandu Valley Pilgrimage — Pashupatinath & Boudhanath
Begin early with a spiritually charged visit to the UNESCO-listed Pashupatinath Temple — one of the most important Hindu shrines dedicated to Lord Shiva. Observe morning rituals and, where permitted, attend the aarti. Continue to the imposing Boudhanath Stupa, one of the largest stupas in South Asia and a vital center for Tibetan Buddhism. Spend time walking the circumambulation (kora) and visiting nearby monasteries.
In the afternoon explore Kathmandu Durbar Square (subject to opening times and restoration status) and other historical temples in the valley.
Special Note: Respect dress codes and silence in sanctified areas. Photography rules vary by shrine.
Patan & Bhaktapur — Cultural Heritage and Drive to Lumbini
Visit the ancient cities of Patan (Lalitpur) and Bhaktapur early in the day to see iconic pagoda temples, artisan courtyards, and traditional Newari architecture. Experience Patan Durbar Square's sacred sites and Bhaktapur's Nyatapola Temple.
After lunch, begin the scenic drive to Lumbini / Rupandehi (approx. 6–7 hours by private vehicle). Stop en route for refreshments and short visits. Arrive in Lumbini in the evening and check in to your guesthouse/hotel.
Tip: The drive offers countryside views; carry light snacks and a jacket for the evening.
Lumbini — Maya Devi Temple & Monastic Zone
Full day dedicated to the sacred grounds of Lumbini, the recognized birthplace of Lord Buddha. Begin at the Maya Devi Temple and the exact nativity site, then walk the expansive Monastic Zone to visit monasteries built by Buddhist communities from around the world. Explore the Lumbini Museum and the Ashoka Pillar, and visit the tranquil World Peace Pagoda.
Spend time in peaceful reflection and receive explanations from your guide about the historical and spiritual significance of each site.
Note: Maintain silence in meditation areas and follow monastery visiting protocols when entering monastic compounds.
Tilaurakot (Kapilvastu) or Optional Devdaha — Buddhist Heritage Excursion
Today choose between a day excursion to Tilaurakot (ancient Kapilvastu)—site associated with Siddhartha Gautama's early life—or visiting Devdaha, another important Buddhist heritage site linked to the Buddha's family. Both sites offer archaeological ruins, peaceful surroundings, and informative museum displays.
Return to Lumbini in the afternoon. Enjoy an evening stroll in the monastic gardens or attend a meditation session at a monastery (subject to availability).
Tip: Wear comfortable walking shoes; some sites have uneven paths.
Return to Kathmandu & Departure
After breakfast, transfer to Bhairahawa / Siddharthanagar Airport for a short domestic flight to Kathmandu (or drive back by road if pre-arranged). On arrival in Kathmandu, connect to your international departure or enjoy an optional late shopping stop in Thamel before transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport.
Important: Domestic flight schedules can change; allow buffer time for international connections. Our representative will assist with the transfer and boarding.
Farewell Note: Carry souvenirs and memories — this Nepal Pilgrimage tour package is designed to leave a lasting spiritual impression.

Nepal Trip Held Together by One Person
Our coordinator Arjun was honestly the reason this Nepal trip went so well. My wife and I were first-timers to Kathmandu and Pokhara, and I had a hundred questions before we even booked. Arjun replied on WhatsApp within minutes, every single time. The itinerary felt genuinely planned for us — not copy-pasted. When our Pokhara hotel had a room issue on day three, he sorted it on call before we had to ask twice. Cabs were on time, hotels were proper good, no surprises on billing either. Felt like having someone local watching over the entire trip without us having to chase anyone.
Nepal Hotel Switch Happened While We Were Travelling
We were already in the cab from Kathmandu to Pokhara when our coordinator messaged saying the hotel had overbooked our room. Before I could even get stressed, she had already found an alternative property, same area, actually a nicer view. By the time my husband and I checked in, everything was confirmed and there were no extra charges on our end. That kind of quick thinking is hard to find. The rest of the Nepal trip — Nagarkot, the lakeside stay, the drives — all went exactly as planned. Communication was easy throughout, mostly WhatsApp, and the itinerary had good flexibility built in. Genuinely felt like someone was paying attention the whole time.
Nepal Took Shape Over One Honest Call
I'd been putting off planning Nepal for almost a year because coordinating flights, hotels, and cabs across Kathmandu and Pokhara felt overwhelming. A friend suggested TourGrids, so I called them. Within that first conversation, they asked the right questions — how many days, what kind of hotels, whether my wife and I wanted any trekking or just sightseeing. No generic package was pushed on us. They sent a customised itinerary on WhatsApp the next day, adjusted two things I flagged, and that was it. Everything was transparent — no surprise charges when we actually travelled. The whole planning process honestly took less effort than booking a domestic flight myself.
Nepal Cabs and Hotels Both Exceeded Expectations
We were a couple doing Nepal for the first time and honestly had no idea where to even start. A friend suggested TourGrids, so I dropped them a message on WhatsApp and within the day we were on a call going through the full itinerary. What stood out most was the quality of properties they arranged — the resort in Pokhara especially was proper good, right by the lakeside, nothing like what I'd been finding on my own at that price. Cabs were always on time, drivers were polite, transfers between cities felt completely sorted. No surprises, no last-minute confusion. The coordinator stayed reachable throughout the trip, which honestly made all the difference.
Nepal Package Cheaper Than My Own Spreadsheet
I spent two weeks trying to plan Nepal independently — comparing hotels in Pokhara, checking cab rates, calculating Kathmandu transfers — and the numbers just kept climbing. One call with TourGrids and they put together a package that came in under what I had budgeted myself. Traveled with my husband for six nights and honestly everything was covered — decent hotels, all intercity transfers, breakfast included daily, and a coordinator we could reach on WhatsApp anytime. No hidden charges when we settled the final bill, which I genuinely wasn't expecting. The hotels were proper good, not budget guesthouses. Knowing someone had already sorted the ground logistics meant we actually enjoyed Nepal instead of managing it.
Nepal Planned Over Three Calls, Nothing Left Out
I was planning a Nepal trip with my wife and honestly had no clue where to start — Pokhara, Kathmandu, Chitwan, everything felt overwhelming to research alone. A friend suggested TourGrids and I just dropped them a WhatsApp. Within a few hours someone called back, asked proper questions about what we wanted, our pace, our budget. We had two or three calls total and by the end the itinerary felt like it was actually built for us, not copy-pasted from some template. Hotels were solid, the cab arrangements were sorted in advance, no last-minute confusion on the ground. No hidden charges either, which I was genuinely worried about. Really glad we went this route.
