Itinerary

Day1

Arrival and Evening in Thamel

Arrive at Tribhuvan International Airport (KTM). Meet and greet by our airport representative and transfer to your hotel in Thamel, Kathmandu. Depending on your arrival time, enjoy a relaxed orientation walk through Thamel's lively streets, dotted with shops, cafes, and traditional handicraft stores.

Important: If arriving late, rest and prepare for the start of the sightseeing program tomorrow. Evening free to explore local restaurants.

Day2

Pashupatinath, Boudhanath & Kopan Monastery

Full-day cultural and spiritual tour beginning at the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the most important Hindu pilgrimage sites in Asia. Continue to Boudhanath Stupa, a major center for Tibetan Buddhism with prayer wheels and monasteries surrounding the stupa. After lunch, visit Kopan Monastery for a serene overview of Buddhist teachings and meditation (optional short meditation session).

Tip: Dress modestly at all religious sites. Keep shoulders and knees covered. Photography is restricted in some areas at Pashupatinath — follow guidance from your guide.

Day3

Bhaktapur: Medieval City of Art and Culture

Drive to Bhaktapur to explore Bhaktapur Durbar Square, famous for its intricate wood carvings, pagoda-style temples, and the 55-Window Palace. Wander through narrow lanes to witness traditional pottery-making at the Pottery Square and try local Newari snacks like juju dhau (king curd).

Note: Bhaktapur's streets are largely pedestrian-friendly — wear comfortable walking shoes and be prepared for cobbled surfaces.

Day4

Patan (Lalitpur) & Handicraft Quarter

Explore Patan Durbar Square (Lalitpur), renowned for its classical Newari architecture, the Patan Museum, and the golden Shrine of Hiranya Varna Mahavihar. Visit local artisan workshops showcasing metalwork, paubha painting, and stone carving. Afternoon at leisure for shopping or an optional visit to the Golden Temple (Kumbheshwar).

Tip: Patan's museums and temples provide deep insight into Newar culture — allocate extra time if you're interested in arts and crafts.

Day5

Swayambhunath & Departure

Visit Swayambhunath Stupa (Monkey Temple) early morning for panoramic views across the Kathmandu Valley and to experience the sunrise if time permits. Enjoy a final stroll through local markets for last-minute souvenirs. Transfer to Tribhuvan International Airport for your onward flight.

Important: Check your flight time and ensure timely checkout. If you have a late flight, we can arrange additional sightseeing or luggage storage upon request.
