Itinerary
Arrival and Ganga Aarti in Rishikesh/Haridwar
Arrive at Haridwar or Rishikesh (by train/air). Meet and assistance at the station/airport and transfer to your hotel. After check-in and a short rest, visit Har Ki Pauri (if in Haridwar) or the Triveni Ghat / Parmarth Niketan area in Rishikesh to attend the evening Ganga Aarti — a moving devotional ritual. Overnight stay at the hotel.
Tip: Keep light woolens handy for the evening by the river.
Scenic Drive to Joshimath – Gateway to Badrinath
After breakfast, depart early for Joshimath. En route, enjoy stunning river-valley views and stop at confluences and towns such as Devprayag (confluence of Alaknanda & Bhagirathi), Rudraprayag, and Karnaprayag for photos and short visits. Arrive in Joshimath by evening, check in to your hotel and rest.
Altitude increases gradually; stay hydrated and avoid strenuous activity on arrival.
Drive to Badrinath and First Darshan
Early breakfast and proceed to Badrinath. The drive is picturesque with mountain vistas. On arrival, check in and freshen up. Visit the iconic Badrinath Temple for the first darshan (subject to temple timings). Explore the temple premises and nearby Tapt Kund — the natural hot springs revered for their sacred bath.
Important: Carry warm clothes and modest attire for temple darshan.
Full Day at Badrinath and Mana Village Excursion
Spend a full devotional day in and around Badrinath. Attend early morning rituals at the temple for an immersive spiritual experience. After breakfast, take a short excursion to Mana Village — the last Indian village on the Indo-Tibet border. Visit attractions like Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and Brahma Kapal. Return to Badrinath for the evening rituals and overnight stay.
Note: Mana is at higher altitude and offers unique cultural insights — photography is allowed but please be respectful of local customs.
Return Journey towards Rishikesh with Stops
After breakfast, begin the return drive towards Rishikesh/Haridwar. Retrace the scenic route with convenient stops for refreshments and photos at Joshimath, Nandaprayag, and Vishnuprayag or other picturesque points. Arrive in Rishikesh/Haridwar by evening. Enjoy leisure time; opt for a relaxed stroll along the Ganges or attend the evening Aarti if missed on Day 1.
Tip: Expect long driving stretches; carry motion-sickness medication if needed.
Departure from Rishikesh/Haridwar
After breakfast, check out and transfer to the railway station/airport for your onward journey. Our representative will assist with departure formalities. End of spiritual journey.
Important: Allow sufficient buffer time for travel to the station/airport due to mountain road conditions.
