Itinerary
Arrival & Kullu Introduction
Arrive at Kullu (Bhuntar/Kullu airport or by road). Settle into your hotel and relax. Afternoon exploration of the valley: stroll through Kullu Bazaar, visit Raghunath Temple, and enjoy riverfront views along the Beas. Evening briefing about high-altitude precautions and an overview of the upcoming Himachal Adventure tour package activities.
Kullu to Manali: Temples & Valley Views
Drive to Manali (approx. 1.5–2 hours). En route and after arrival visit Hadimba Temple, Vashisht Hot Springs, and the picturesque Mall Road. Optional short stop at Solang Valley (seasonal) for light adventure activities or photos. Hydrate well and avoid strenuous activity; this helps acclimatization.
Manali to Kaza: High-Altitude Transit
Early departure for the long but spectacular drive to Kaza (Spiti Valley) via Rohtang/Gramphu and Kunzum Pass. Cross dramatic landscapes, high-altitude deserts, and mountain passes. Arrive in Kaza, check into your hotel/guesthouse, and enjoy a gentle evening walk to absorb the altitude and scenery. Carry warm layers and altitude medicine if prescribed.
Kaza & Kibber: Monasteries, Wildlife & Village Life
Full-day exploration around Kaza: visit the iconic Key Monastery (cultural and spiritual hub), then head to Kibber Village—gateway to the Kibber Wildlife Sanctuary. Look for Himalayan blue sheep (bharal), marmots, and alpine birds. Enjoy village walks and meet local herders to learn about high-altitude pastoral life.
Langza, Hikkim & Komic: Fossils, Views & Highest Villages
Explore the high-altitude settlements of Langza, Hikkim, and Komic. See ancient marine fossils at Langza, send a postcard from Hikkim’s famous high-altitude post office, and visit Komic, one of the highest motorable villages in the world. Spectacular panoramic views of the Kunzum Range and chances to spot unique alpine flora.
Dhankar, Tabo & Cultural Immersion
Day trip to Dhankar Monastery and the dramatic Dhankar Gorge. Visit Dhankar Lake (seasonal) for pristine high-altitude scenery. Optionally visit Tabo Monastery (time permitting) to view ancient murals and manuscripts—one of Himachal’s cultural highlights. Return to Kaza for a farewell evening.
Departure from Kaza — End of Himachal Adventure Package
After breakfast, depart Kaza bound for Manali/Kullu or your onward destination as per the chosen exit route. Transfer to the designated drop-off point. If you plan to extend, ask about optional add-ons like Chandratal or Lahaul excursions.
