Itinerary
Arrival, Check-in & Coastal Evening Walk
Arrive in Goa (Dabolim Airport / Madgaon Railway / Panaji bus station). Meet your transfer and relax as you head to Calangute. After check-in, enjoy a gentle coastal orientation walk along Calangute Beach to observe evening fisherfolk returning with their catch. Tonight, have a welcome dinner featuring Goan seafood specials at a local beach shack.
Important: Arrival times determine the evening activities; late arrivals will receive a meet-and-greet and orientation at the hotel.
Traditional Fishing Boat Trip with Local Fishermen
Early morning departure for a guided fishing boat trip led by experienced local fishermen. Learn traditional net-casting techniques, try hand-line fishing, and watch the morning fish auction on the jetty. Return to the hotel for a seafood brunch using the day's catch. Afternoon at leisure — options include optional water sports or a short visit to Baga Beach and Anjuna Flea Market.
Evening: Seafood Night — a curated multi-course dinner where a local chef prepares the day's catch using Goan spices and coastal techniques.
Transfer to South Goa via Old Goa & River Ferry Experience
Check out and drive south with a scenic stop at Old Goa (Basilica of Bom Jesus, Se Cathedral) for a short cultural interlude. Continue to a riverside point for a short ferry/boat crossing to Divar Island or a similar coastal village to witness island life and small-scale fish drying/processing.
Arrive in Cavelossim late afternoon. Evening at leisure with an optional beachfront stroll and a sunset seafood platter at a recommended local restaurant.
South Goa Fishermen Village Tour & Backwater Cruise
Morning guided visit to a South Goa fishing village to observe the fish auction, crab / prawn farms, and traditional thatched boathouses. Participate in a hands-on seafood cooking demo where you help prepare a simple coastal meal.
Afternoon: Relaxing Sal River backwater cruise — spot birdlife, mangroves, and local riverside livelihoods. Evening: Special Seafood Night featuring a bonfire-style beach dinner (seasonal) with freshly grilled catch and local desserts.
Leisure Morning & Departure
Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and final beach time in Cavelossim. Depending on your departure schedule, you may have time for a short visit to a nearby artisanal market for spices and Goan souvenirs. Check out and transfer to Dabolim Airport or Madgaon Railway Station.
Note: If you have a late flight, consider booking an optional extended day room or an extra evening excursion.

Goa With My Wife, Zero Second-Guessing
Honestly, handing over an entire trip to a company you've never used before feels risky. But my wife and I wanted Goa done properly this time — no last-minute scrambling, no random hotel surprises. TourGrids sorted the flights, cabs, and hotel over a couple of WhatsApp calls, and the coordinator actually remembered the small things we mentioned, like wanting a sea-facing room. Everything was laid out clearly before we paid — no hidden charges that showed up later. The hotel was proper good, transfers were on time, and whenever we messaged, someone replied quickly. First time trusting an outside company for a trip, and it went better than trips we've planned ourselves.
Custom Goa Itinerary Built Around Our Schedule
We wanted a Goa trip that didn't feel like a copy-paste package, and TourGrids actually listened. I spoke to their team twice on call before booking — told them we're a couple, not big on beach parties, more into quiet stays and good food spots. They adjusted the itinerary accordingly, swapped one property we didn't like on the list, and confirmed everything on WhatsApp within a day. No back and forth, no confusing emails. The hotel was proper good, cab driver was on time throughout, and the pricing was transparent from the start — no hidden charges showing up later. Honestly the planning part felt easier than I expected it to.
