Arrival, Scenic Drive and Village Walk in Jibhi
Arrive at the designated pickup (Chandigarh/Aut) and enjoy a scenic drive into the Kullu hills. Settle into a cosy homestay in Jibhi. Afternoon short walk to the Jibhi Waterfall and explore the stone lanes of the village. Evening: meet your host family for a traditional Himachali dinner and a short introduction to local life.
Tip: Keep your camera ready — the valley light at dusk is beautiful. Roads are hilly but well-maintained.
Riverside Hike and Transfer to Tirthan Valley
After breakfast, enjoy an easy riverside hike along the Tirthan River to experience the valley's flora and birds. Later drive a short distance to Gushaini/Plushy in Tirthan Valley and check into a family-run guesthouse. Evening free for a riverside stroll and optional bonfire (seasonal).
Important: Short, gentle walks make this day suitable for children and older travellers.
Great Himalayan National Park Excursion & Village Interaction
Spend a day exploring trails near the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) — enjoy easy to moderate guided walks, birdwatching and spotting rhododendrons and alpine flora (depending on season). Jalori Pass, Serolsar Lake and Alpine Vistas
Drive up to Jalori Pass, take in panoramic views of the surrounding ridges and then trek the short trail to Serolsar Lake, a serene alpine lake with clear waters and spiritual local stories. Afternoon descent and relax at a nearby homestay; evening tea with mountain views.
Tip: Weather at high passes can change quickly — carry a warm layer and rain protection.
Barot Valley: Reservoir, Forest Walks and Optional Adventure
Head to Barot Valley — enjoy the forest trails, walk along the Barot Reservoir and learn about local trout farming. Afternoon visit to Bir-Billing (short drive) for views of the paragliding meadows and peaceful monasteries. Evening cultural time with your homestay host: local stories, home-cooked food and optional folk music.

Departure: Return to Pickup Point
After breakfast, a relaxed transfer back to the designated drop-off (Joginder Nagar / Mandi / Chandigarh — depending on your onward connection). En route, stop for photos and a final view over the valleys. Trip concludes with drop at the chosen transit hub.
Note: If you'd like to extend, ask about connecting options to Shimla, Kasol or Dharamshala for a 6+ day itinerary.
