Highlights: airport transfer, welcome briefing, traditional Nepali dinner.
Kathmandu — Cultural sightseeing and trek preparation
Full day of sightseeing in Kathmandu Valley visiting UNESCO World Heritage sites. Explore Pashupatinath Temple, Boudhanath Stupa, and Durbar Square. In the afternoon attend a detailed trek briefing: gear check, porter/mule arrangements, and final permit paperwork.
Tip: Carry photocopies of your passport and permit; hydrate well before the trek.
Kathmandu to Pokhara — Gateway to the Annapurnas
Early morning drive (or short flight, optional) to Pokhara — the peaceful lakeside town and gateway to the Annapurna region. Enjoy lakeside strolls at Phewa Lake, visit the World Peace Pagoda for sunset, and prepare for the trek with any last-minute shopping.
Note: Flight to Pokhara is weather-dependent; road transfer is scenic (6–7 hours).
Drive to Nayapul and Trek to Ulleri / Tikhedhunga
Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, complete permit checks, and begin the trek. Trek through terraced farmland and traditional Gurung villages to Ulleri or Tikhedhunga. Enjoy mountain views and your first teahouse evening with a warm meal.
Highlights: village scenery, terraced fields, acclimatization-start.
Trek to Ghorepani — Gateway to Poon Hill Sunrise
A steady ascent brings you to Ghorepani, a key stop for many Annapurna treks. Optional early-morning hike to Poon Hill for a legendary sunrise over Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Machhapuchhre.
Highlight: Poon Hill sunrise — one of the best panoramic viewpoints in Nepal.
Ghorepani to Tadapani — Rhododendron Forests and Mountain Vistas
Descend from Ghorepani and trek through fragrant rhododendron forests toward Tadapani. Enjoy expansive views of the Annapurna range and immerse in the serene mountain environment.
Tip: Shorter walking day to aid recovery after the Poon Hill early start.
Trek to Chhomrong — Traditional Gurung Life
Steady descent and river crossings bring you into the Modi Khola valley and up to Chhomrong, an important Gurung village and a gateway to higher elevations. Overnight in teahouse with authentic local hospitality.
Highlight: Cultural interactions with Gurung villagers and terraced valley views.
Chhomrong to Himalaya — Into the Heart of the Annapurna Sanctuary
Trek through bamboo groves and mountain passes to reach the Himalaya teahouse area (near Machhapuchhre Base). The trail gets steeper; take time to acclimatize and enjoy close-up mountain panoramas.
Important: Stay hydrated and maintain steady pace; altitude begins to become more noticeable.
Himalaya to Annapurna Base Camp — Summit of the Trek
An early, rewarding ascent leads to the iconic Annapurna Base Camp (ABC). Arrive mid-day to soak in 360° views of giants: Annapurna I, Annapurna South, Machhapuchhre (Fishtail) and Hiunchuli. Celebrate at the base camp and enjoy a special dinner under the stars.
Highlight: Reaching ABC — the pinnacle of this Nepal Honeymoon tour package. Take lots of photos and rest well.
Descent to Jhinu Danda via Bamboo — Hot Springs Relaxation
Begin the descent through the sanctuary toward Bamboo and then Jhinu Danda, famous for its natural hot springs. A soothing soak is the perfect way to relax tired muscles and celebrate your trek's success.
Tip: Bring swimwear and a quick-dry towel for the hot springs.
Return to Pokhara and Transfer to Kathmandu or Departure
Final trek segment leads to Nayapul, where a private vehicle awaits to drive you back to Pokhara. Depending on scheduling, take a late afternoon flight to Kathmandu or stay overnight in Pokhara before onward travel. Farewell dinner in Kathmandu if time permits.

Nepal Trip Held Together by One Person
Our coordinator Arjun was honestly the reason this Nepal trip went so well. My wife and I were first-timers to Kathmandu and Pokhara, and I had a hundred questions before we even booked. Arjun replied on WhatsApp within minutes, every single time. The itinerary felt genuinely planned for us — not copy-pasted. When our Pokhara hotel had a room issue on day three, he sorted it on call before we had to ask twice. Cabs were on time, hotels were proper good, no surprises on billing either. Felt like having someone local watching over the entire trip without us having to chase anyone.
Nepal Hotel Switch Happened While We Were Travelling
We were already in the cab from Kathmandu to Pokhara when our coordinator messaged saying the hotel had overbooked our room. Before I could even get stressed, she had already found an alternative property, same area, actually a nicer view. By the time my husband and I checked in, everything was confirmed and there were no extra charges on our end. That kind of quick thinking is hard to find. The rest of the Nepal trip — Nagarkot, the lakeside stay, the drives — all went exactly as planned. Communication was easy throughout, mostly WhatsApp, and the itinerary had good flexibility built in. Genuinely felt like someone was paying attention the whole time.
Nepal Took Shape Over One Honest Call
I'd been putting off planning Nepal for almost a year because coordinating flights, hotels, and cabs across Kathmandu and Pokhara felt overwhelming. A friend suggested TourGrids, so I called them. Within that first conversation, they asked the right questions — how many days, what kind of hotels, whether my wife and I wanted any trekking or just sightseeing. No generic package was pushed on us. They sent a customised itinerary on WhatsApp the next day, adjusted two things I flagged, and that was it. Everything was transparent — no surprise charges when we actually travelled. The whole planning process honestly took less effort than booking a domestic flight myself.
Nepal Cabs and Hotels Both Exceeded Expectations
We were a couple doing Nepal for the first time and honestly had no idea where to even start. A friend suggested TourGrids, so I dropped them a message on WhatsApp and within the day we were on a call going through the full itinerary. What stood out most was the quality of properties they arranged — the resort in Pokhara especially was proper good, right by the lakeside, nothing like what I'd been finding on my own at that price. Cabs were always on time, drivers were polite, transfers between cities felt completely sorted. No surprises, no last-minute confusion. The coordinator stayed reachable throughout the trip, which honestly made all the difference.
Nepal Package Cheaper Than My Own Spreadsheet
I spent two weeks trying to plan Nepal independently — comparing hotels in Pokhara, checking cab rates, calculating Kathmandu transfers — and the numbers just kept climbing. One call with TourGrids and they put together a package that came in under what I had budgeted myself. Traveled with my husband for six nights and honestly everything was covered — decent hotels, all intercity transfers, breakfast included daily, and a coordinator we could reach on WhatsApp anytime. No hidden charges when we settled the final bill, which I genuinely wasn't expecting. The hotels were proper good, not budget guesthouses. Knowing someone had already sorted the ground logistics meant we actually enjoyed Nepal instead of managing it.
Nepal Planned Over Three Calls, Nothing Left Out
I was planning a Nepal trip with my wife and honestly had no clue where to start — Pokhara, Kathmandu, Chitwan, everything felt overwhelming to research alone. A friend suggested TourGrids and I just dropped them a WhatsApp. Within a few hours someone called back, asked proper questions about what we wanted, our pace, our budget. We had two or three calls total and by the end the itinerary felt like it was actually built for us, not copy-pasted from some template. Hotels were solid, the cab arrangements were sorted in advance, no last-minute confusion on the ground. No hidden charges either, which I was genuinely worried about. Really glad we went this route.
