Nainital Sightseeing: Panoramas & Nature
Full-day sightseeing in and around Nainital. Start with a cable car ride to Snow View Point for spectacular Himalayan vistas. Proceed to Tiffin Top (Dorothy's Seat) for an easy short trek and panoramic views—great for family photos. Visit Eco Cave Gardens and the Nainital Zoo (Pt. G.B. Pant High Altitude Zoo). Transfer to Bhimtal & Lakeside Relaxation
After breakfast, check out and drive to Bhimtal (approx. 30–45 minutes). Check in at the lakeside hotel. Explore Bhimtal Lake, take a paddle-boat, and visit the Bhimtal Aquarium located on an island in the lake. Enjoy a peaceful evening by the lake — perfect for family board games and sunset views.
Tip: Bhimtal is quieter than Nainital; ideal for families seeking calm and relaxation.
Sattal Nature Escape: Birdwatching & Trails
Drive to Sattal after breakfast (approx. 30 minutes). Spend the day exploring the pristine cluster of lakes — perfect for birdwatching, easy nature walks, and quiet picnics. Optional activities include kayaking, paddle boating, or a gentle guided nature trail. Visit the viewpoints around the seven lakes and enjoy an evening bonfire or relaxed dining at your eco-lodge.
Important: Sattal is a protected bird area — carry binoculars for birdwatching and maintain quiet on trails.
Departure via Kathgodam / Route Home
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your return journey. Depending on your onward travel plans, you can be dropped at Kathgodam Railway Station or the designated point for your departure by road. If time permits, stop at a scenic viewpoint near Nainital for a final family photo.
