Arrival & Evening Stroll in Gangtok
Arrival at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station and drive to Gangtok (approx. 4-5 hours). Check-in at your hotel and relax. In the evening, take a leisurely walk along MG Marg, enjoy local cafes and pick up souvenirs.
Tip: Keep light warm clothing handy — evenings in Gangtok can be cool.
Tsomgo Lake, Baba Mandir & Gangtok Local Sightseeing
Full-day sightseeing: Visit the glacial Tsomgo Lake (Changu Lake) and the nearby Baba Harbhajan Mandir. Return to Gangtok for a tour of major attractions including Rumtek Monastery, Do Drul Chorten (Stupa), Enchey Monastery and Tashi Viewpoint for panoramic views.
Note: Nathula Pass requires special permit and may be closed on certain days — can be arranged on request subject to availability.
Drive to Pelling — Scenic Transfer & Evening at Leisure
After breakfast, drive to Pelling (approx. 4-5 hours) passing through scenic landscapes and quaint villages. Check-in at your hotel in Pelling. Spend the evening enjoying hotel views of Kanchenjunga and relaxing.
Tip: Carry your camera — the route offers multiple photogenic stops along the way.
Pelling Sightseeing: Monasteries, Lakes & Bridges
Explore Pelling: Visit Pemayangtse Monastery, historic Rabdentse Ruins, and the sacred Khecheopalri Lake. Later, see Rimbi Waterfall and the iconic Singshore Bridge — one of the highest suspension bridges in Asia. Wrap up with a visit to the Pelling Skywalk for breathtaking vistas.
Note: Early mornings on clear days offer the best Kanchenjunga views — plan sunrise viewing if weather permits.
Return Journey & Departure
After breakfast, check out and drive to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station for your onward journey (approx. 4-5 hours). En route, if time permits, stop at local markets for last-minute shopping.
Important: Confirm your departure time with the hotel to ensure timely transfer to the airport/railway station.
