Arrival, Transfer to Kaziranga & Evening at Leisure
Arrival at Guwahati Airport/Station; meet and greet by your driver and guide. Drive to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 4–5 hours) with scenic stops en route. Check in to your wildlife lodge or resort. Spend the evening relaxing or take a short village walk to experience local Assamese life. Meals: Dinner included.
Elephant Safari & Jeep Safari — Wildlife Immersion
Start early with a classic elephant safari (subject to availability) into the central range — an intimate way to spot one-horned rhinos, wild water buffalo, and a variety of birds. Return to the lodge for breakfast and rest. After lunch, head out for an afternoon jeep safari in a different range (Western/Eastern depending on permit) to maximize wildlife sightings. In the evening enjoy a brief cultural performance or a talk by the naturalist at the lodge. Carry binoculars, a hat, and water.
Morning Safari, Transfer to Tea Estate & Plantation Walk
Enjoy a second early morning jeep safari for more wildlife viewing and birdwatching. Return for brunch, check out, and drive to the heritage Tea Estate near Jorhat (approx. 2–3 hours). Check in to the tea bungalow. Afternoon guided tea garden walk, tea-plucking demonstration and tasting session at the estate. Evening at leisure with an optional nature walk around the estate. Ideal for families looking for relaxed time in green surroundings.
Tea Estate Morning, Local Sightseeing & Departure
Early morning tea walk to watch the sunrise over the rolling tea gardens and participate in a short tea-tasting and processing demo. After breakfast, check out and transfer to Guwahati or Jorhat Airport/Station for your onward journey. If time permits, visit local attractions near Jorhat (e.g., Tocklai Tea Research Institute, local markets) en route. Package concludes on departure.
