Arrival at Guwahati — Transfer to Kaziranga & Lodge Check-in
Arrive at Guwahati Airport / Railway Station where you will be met by our representative and transferred (approx. 4–5 hours) to your luxury lodge in Kaziranga. Check in, freshen up and enjoy a relaxed evening with an orientation by the lodge naturalist. Light evening nature walk or birdwatching around the lodge depending on arrival time. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Early Morning Elephant Safari & Leisure Afternoon
Start before sunrise with an unforgettable elephant-back safari into the park (subject to availability). This close-to-ground experience offers excellent chances to view the Great Indian One-Horned Rhinoceros and other large mammals. Return for a hearty breakfast at the lodge. Afternoon at leisure — relax at the lodge, enjoy the pool, or join a short guided nature/heritage talk. Carry binoculars, comfortable clothing, and follow park/guide instructions. Evening: optional village visit or cultural performance by local artists. Overnight at lodge.
Morning & Late Afternoon Jeep Safaris — Wildlife Focus
Early morning jeep (4x4) safari into one of Kaziranga's Jeep Safari Ranges (Central/Western/Eastern depending on permits) targeting rhinos, elephants, swamp deer, and predators. Return for breakfast and a mid-day rest. After lunch, head out for a late afternoon jeep safari when wildlife is most active. Evening debrief with the lodge naturalist highlighting species seen and conservation notes. Sufficient camera batteries and memory cards recommended. Overnight at lodge.
Birdwatching Drive & Tea-Garden Excursion
Morning birdwatching drive with the lodge naturalist — Kaziranga hosts a rich variety of resident and migratory birds such as Indian roller, various egrets, storks, and kingfishers. Post breakfast, optional excursion to a nearby Assam tea garden for a guided walk and tea tasting (time permitting). Return to the lodge for an evening at leisure. This is a great day for photography and relaxed wildlife observation. Overnight at lodge.
Community Visit, Nature Walk & Special Safari
After an early breakfast, enjoy a guided nature walk along the lodge trails and learn about wetland ecology from your naturalist. Later visit a nearby local community to experience rural Assamese life and crafts. Return to the park for a special safari session (jeep or boat depending on water levels and permit availability). Evening farewell dinner at the lodge celebrating local cuisine. Please be respectful of local customs during community visits. Overnight at lodge.
Morning Wildlife Drive & Departure to Guwahati
Early morning optional short safari or birding walk (time permitting). After breakfast, check out and transfer back to Guwahati for your onward flight/or train. Drop-off at Guwahati Airport/Railway Station. End of services.
