Itinerary
Arrival, Transfer to Gangtok and Luxury Check-in
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport / New Jalpaiguri (NJP). Meet your private driver and transfer to Gangtok (approx. 4–5 hours) via scenic hill roads. Enjoy panoramic views of the eastern Himalaya en route. Check in to your luxury hotel and unwind. Evening at leisure to explore MG Marg — boutique shops, cafes and local eateries.

Gangtok: Monasteries, Viewpoints & Tsomgo Lake Excursion
Full day private sightseeing with certified local guide. Visit Rumtek Monastery and Enchey Monastery for cultural immersion. Proceed to the high-altitude Tsomgo Lake and Baba Harbhajan Singh Mandir — enjoy the serene alpine scenery and photo opportunities. Return to Gangtok for a leisurely evening at your luxury resort.
Note: Access to Tsomgo can be weather-dependent; alternate local attractions will be offered if necessary.
Transfer to Arunachal: Fly/Drive to Tezpur/Guwahati and Drive to Bomdila/Dirang
After breakfast, transfer to Bagdogra/NJP for onward domestic flight to Tezpur/Guwahati (flight recommended; airport pick-up included). From there enjoy a scenic drive to Bomdila / Dirang — gateway to western Arunachal. En route, soak in tea gardens, river valleys and tribal landscapes. Check in to a premium heritage-style or luxury mountain lodge.

Bomdila / Dirang: Local Culture, Orchards & Viewpoints
Private guided exploration of Bomdila and Dirang. Visit Bomdila Monastery and local craft centers; stroll through apple orchards (seasonal) and visit viewpoint overlooks for sweeping valley views. Interact with local communities and learn about Monpa culture. Afternoon at leisure for spa or lodge facilities.
Special: A short nature walk or birdwatching can be arranged depending on season.
Drive to Tawang via Sela Pass — Scenic High-Altitude Journey
Early departure for a dramatic drive to Tawang via the iconic Sela Pass (altitude ~13,700 ft) with stops for photography, acclimatization and short walks. Visit Jang Valley and the picturesque landscapes approaching Tawang. Arrive in Tawang and check in to a luxury mountain resort. Evening at leisure; optional short visit to the town market.
Altitude alert: Carry warm clothing and hydrate. Sela Pass may be cold and windy.
Tawang: Tawang Monastery, War Memorials & Departure
Full day private sightseeing in Tawang: visit the majestic Tawang Monastery (one of the largest in India), the Tawang War Memorial, and local viewpoints offering expansive Himalayan vistas. Enjoy curated cultural interactions with local monks and artisans. After sightseeing, transfer to Tezpur / Guwahati for onward flights (schedule-dependent) or continue your journey from Tawang.
