Arrival at NJP/Bagdogra — Transfer to Gangtok and Evening Leisure
Arrival & Transfer: Meet & greet at Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station and drive to Gangtok (approx. 4-5 hours) with scenic mountain views en route. Check-in at the hotel and unwind.
Evening: Stroll along MG Marg, enjoy a cozy dinner and a relaxed walk under starlight — perfect for honeymooners.

Gangtok Local Sightseeing: Monasteries, Viewpoints & Local Culture
After breakfast, explore Gangtok's cultural highlights. Visit Rumtek Monastery (if open), Do Drul Chorten & Namgyal Institute of Tibetology, Banjhakri Falls, Tashi Viewpoint, and enjoy panoramic city views. Return to the hotel for a relaxed evening. Optional: Enjoy a romantic ropeway ride (subject to availability).
Note: Entry timings for monasteries vary; carry ID for permits.
Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir Excursion — Back to Gangtok
Full-day excursion to Tsomgo (Changu) Lake and Baba Harbhajan Mandir. Enjoy the emerald lake framed by snow-clad peaks and opt for a yak ride for memorable photos. Spend time at the Baba Mandir, a revered spot with unique local stories. Drive back to Gangtok by evening.
Important: Weather can affect accessibility to Tsomgo Lake; carry warm clothing and necessary permits (arranged by the operator where applicable).
Drive to Pelling — Arrival & Sunset at Pemayangtse
After breakfast check out and drive to Pelling (approx. 4-5 hours). En route enjoy scenic views of valleys and terraced fields. On arrival, check in and visit Pemayangtse Monastery for a tranquil sunset and evening prayers. Take in the majestic sight of Mt. Kanchenjunga at dusk.
Tip: The route between Gangtok and Pelling is picturesque — keep your camera ready for roadside vistas.
Pelling Sightseeing: Khecheopalri, Singshore Bridge & Rabdentse Ruins
Discover Pelling's highlights after breakfast: the sacred Khecheopalri Lake (wishing lake), the dramatic Singshore Bridge, Rimbi Waterfalls, and Rabdentse Ruins — former capital ruins with panoramic views. Spend a romantic evening enjoying local cuisine and a peaceful stay at your Pelling hotel.
Note: Khecheopalri is a revered lake — maintain silence and follow local customs.
Return to NJP/Bagdogra — Departure
After breakfast, check out and drive back to Bagdogra Airport / NJP Railway Station for your onward journey. En route, if time permits, enjoy quick local stops for photos and last-minute souvenirs.
Important: Ensure onward travel bookings are after the recommended transfer time to avoid stress; traffic and mountain roads can add extra time.
