Arrival at Bagdogra / NJP — Transfer to Gangtok and Leisure Evening
Arrive at Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri (NJP) railway station. Meet and greet by your private driver and transfer to Gangtok (approx. 4–5 hours). Check into a luxury cottage or boutique hotel appointed with a romantic honeymoon setup. Spend the evening strolling on MG Marg, enjoy a candlelight dinner at the resort, and relax.
Important: Keep warm clothes and travel documents handy. Light acclimatization recommended after the drive.
Gangtok Local Sightseeing & Romantic Experiences
After breakfast, enjoy a curated sightseeing tour of Gangtok including the Rumtek Monastery (subject to permit), Tashi Viewpoint for sunrise/peak views of Kanchenjunga, and the Flower Exhibition Centre (seasonal). Return to town for leisure shopping and a relaxed evening. Optional romantic activities: private rooftop dinner or spa for couples at the cottage.
Tip: Carry your camera—sunrise at Tashi Viewpoint is magical for couples.
Drive to Lachung — Scenic Mountain Route & Village Immersion
Post breakfast, depart for Lachung (North Sikkim) via scenic mountain roads (approx. 6–7 hours). En route, stop for photographs at viewpoint stops and tea shops. Arrive at the cosy mountain cottages in Lachung, check-in, and spend a quiet evening exploring the village lanes. Enjoy a local Sikkimese dinner and rest.
Important: Road conditions can vary — mornings are best for departures. Keep motion-sickness remedies if needed.
Yumthang Valley & Zero Point — A Day of Snow Meadows and Hot Springs
Early morning drive to Yumthang Valley (the Valley of Flowers) to witness sweeping meadows, rhododendron forests (seasonal) and panoramic mountain vistas. Visit Yumesamdong (Zero Point) if weather permits for snowbound landscapes. On return, stop at the natural hot springs near Yumthang. Return to Lachung for a cosy evening.
Note: Access to Zero Point depends on weather and local permits. Carry warm clothing and water.
Transfer to Pelling — Waterfalls, Monasteries & Relaxing Evening
After breakfast, check out and drive towards Pelling (approx. 6–7 hours) crossing scenic valleys and waterfalls. En route, visit the serene Khecheopalri Lake (wish lake), and explore quaint villages. Arrive in Pelling, check into a luxury cottage with views of the Kanchenjunga range, and enjoy a romantic evening in the property.
Tip: Capture the sunset over Kanchenjunga for memorable honeymoon photos.
Pelling Sightseeing & Departure to Bagdogra / NJP
Morning sightseeing in Pelling covering the Pemyangtse Monastery, Rabdentse Ruins, and the Singshore Bridge (one of the highest suspension bridges in India). After lunch, depart for Bagdogra / NJP (approx. 4–5 hours) for your onward journey. Assistance for drop-off at the airport/railway station will be provided.
Important: Plan your return flight/train in the evening; advance coordination helps avoid long waits during mountainous transfers.
