Itinerary
Arrival, Transfer & Riverside Camp Orientation
Arrive at Ramnagar (nearest railhead/drive point) and transfer to your scenic Riverside Camp on the banks of the Kosi River. Settle into family-friendly tents/cottages, enjoy a welcome drink, and attend a short orientation about safaris and park rules. Evening at leisure with a guided short nature walk along the riverbank and a campfire with local storytelling.
Early Morning Jeep Safari (Bijrani Zone) & Birdwatching
Set off for an early morning jeep safari in Bijrani Zone — one of the most popular wildlife zones in Corbett known for frequent sightings of tigers, elephants, and deer. Return to camp for brunch and relax. Post-lunch enjoy a guided birdwatching walk focusing on migratory and resident species around the river and farmland. Evening cultural program or family bonfire.
Canter Safari (Dhikala/Long-Range) or Alternate Long Safari
Today features a long-range canter safari to the Dhikala Zone* (or an equivalent long safari subject to permit availability). This full-day excursion covers deep forest habitats ideal for tiger, leopard, swamp deer, and diverse birdlife. Lunch en route or at designated forest lodges. If Dhikala permits are unavailable, a full-day safari to other deeper zones or a combined jeep + nature trail is arranged.
Elephant Ride / Jeep Safari & Village Visit
Choose between a peaceful elephant-back safari (subject to availability) or another early-morning jeep safari in Jhirna/Dhela—excellent for spotting birdlife and herbivores. After lunch, take a short excursion to a nearby village to experience local Kumaoni culture and crafts. Evening free for family activities at camp and optional night-sky viewing.
Sunrise Safari, Corbett Museum & Riverside Leisure
Enjoy a final sunrise jeep safari in a recommended zone (typically Dhela or Bijrani) for last-chance wildlife viewing and photography. After returning to camp, visit the Corbett Museum or Garjia Temple (short drive) for a cultural touch. Spend the afternoon relaxing by the river—optional activities include catch-and-release fishing or short coracle rides. Farewell dinner with a summary of your adventure.
Morning Nature Walk & Departure
Start with a gentle morning nature walk around the camp to spot early birds and riverine life. Enjoy breakfast, pack up, and check out. Transfer back to Ramnagar for onward rail/road connection to Delhi/airport. Flexible departures can be arranged on request.
