Itinerary
Arrival, Ganga Aarti at Har Ki Pauri
Arrive at Haridwar (or Dehradun airport / railway station) and transfer to your hotel. After freshening up, visit Har Ki Pauri for the evening Ganga Aarti — a serene spiritual experience to commence your Uttarakhand Pilgrimage tour package. Overnight stay in Haridwar.
Tip: Carry light woolens in evenings; Haridwar can be cool after sunset.
Drive to Guptkashi via Devprayag & Rudraprayag
After an early breakfast, drive from Haridwar to Guptkashi (approx. 8–9 hours) with scenic stops en route. Visit the confluence at Devprayag, continue through Rudraprayag, and pass Srinagar (Uttarakhand). Check in at your hotel in Guptkashi and rest. Overnight stay in Guptkashi.
Note: Road timings depend on traffic and weather; keep flexible time for breaks.
Kedarnath Darshan — Helicopter Option or Trek from Gaurikund
Start early. For the Helicopter Option: Transfer to the designated helipad (e.g., Phata/Phool Chatti) and fly to the Kedarnath helipad. From the helipad, short walk to Kedarnath Temple for darshan and puja, then return by helicopter to the base helipad and drive back to Guptkashi.
For pilgrims preferring the traditional route: Drive to Gaurikund / Sonprayag and begin the trek (approximately 16 km) to Kedarnath; overnight arrangements depend on trekking plan (this package emphasizes the helicopter option but can be tailored).
Important: Helicopter services are subject to government slots, weather conditions, and seat availability. Pre-booking and confirmation are essential.
Return drive towards Haridwar with en-route stops
After breakfast, begin the drive back from Guptkashi to Haridwar. Enjoy picturesque views of the Mandakini and Alaknanda valleys. Stop at scenic points and small temples en route for photos and refreshments. Arrive in Haridwar in the evening and check-in at your hotel.
Tip: Keep copies of your ID and permits handy for inspections during travel.
Departure — Drop at Railway Station / Airport
After breakfast, enjoy a relaxed morning with optional short visits to local markets or temples in Haridwar. Check out from the hotel and transfer to Dehradun Airport or Haridwar / Rishikesh railway station for your onward journey. Conclude your Uttarakhand Pilgrimage package with divine memories from Kedarnath.
