Petronas Twin Towers Skybridge and Observation Deck
The 452-metre Petronas Twin Towers remain Kuala Lumpur's defining image and the single most booked attraction in Malaysia. Tickets cover a guided sequence: a short film in the concourse, a lift to the double-decker Skybridge on levels 41 and 42, then a second lift to the observation deck on level 86 of Tower 2. From the top you look straight down at KLCC Park, the Suria KLCC mall, Menara KL on its forested hill, and the newer Merdeka 118 tower, now the world's second-tallest building.
Time slots are fixed and sell out, particularly during Indian school holidays in May, October and December. Booking online through the official Petronas site two to three weeks ahead is the practical approach; walk-up counters at the concourse level often only have late-afternoon slots left.
Most Indian visitors pair the tower visit with the free Lake Symphony fountain show at KLCC Park, which runs several times each evening, and dinner at one of the many Indian and halal restaurants in Suria KLCC or nearby Jalan P Ramlee. The park itself has a large children's playground and wading pool, useful if you are travelling with kids.
