Itinerary
Arrival, Riverside Walk & Welcome Dinner
Arrive at Goa International Airport or Madgaon Railway Station and transfer to your hotel in Panjim (Panaji). Settle in and enjoy a relaxing afternoon at the hotel.
In the early evening, take a guided riverside walk along Fontainhas — the Portuguese quarter — exploring colorful houses and small bakeries. Finish the day with a welcome seafood dinner at a well-known local restaurant featuring Goan fish curry and bebinca.
Tip: Keep some cash for small market purchases and snacks.
Old Goa Pilgrimage & Panjim Market Exploration
Morning visit to Old Goa to explore its UNESCO-style basilicas: Basilica of Bom Jesus (housing St. Francis Xavier's relics) and Se Cathedral. While these are pilgrimage highlights, they also reveal Portuguese-era culinary influences in Goan convent sweets and bakery traditions.
In the afternoon, return to Panjim for a guided tour of Panjim Market. Sample local sweets, Goan chouriço, fresh mangoes (seasonal), and street-side snacks. Evening free to explore the Mandovi riverfront.
Important: Dress modestly for church visits; remove hats and observe local decorum.
North Goa Markets & Evening Cooking Class
Transfer north and begin with a morning visit to Mapusa Market (or Anjuna Flea Market, if the schedule aligns). Explore stalls selling spices, cashew products, freshly caught seafood, and local handicrafts.
In the afternoon, join a hands-on Goan cooking class in a local chef's kitchen. Learn to prepare regional favorites such as Goan vindaloo, xacuti, sannas, and a coconut-based vegetable curry. Enjoy the meal you've cooked alongside your instructor.
Note: Vegetarian options are available on request. Please inform us of dietary restrictions when booking.
Feni Distillery Visit & Beach Shack Lunch
Today's highlight is a visit to a traditional feni distillery (cashew or coconut feni), where you'll learn authentic distillation methods and enjoy guided tastings of small-batch feni and local liqueurs through a feni distillery and cashew trail tasting.
Pair your tasting with a beach shack lunch in the Calangute/Candolim area featuring freshly grilled seafood and Goan side dishes. Afternoon at leisure on the beach or return to your hotel.
Tip: Feni tastings are moderate; arranged transport ensures safe return to your hotel.
Spice Plantation Tour & Traditional Goan Lunch
Head inland to a fragrant spice plantation (Ponda region) for a guided tour. Learn about cardamom, cinnamon, black pepper, and kokum. The plantation visit culminates in a traditional Goan lunch served in a homestyle setting — expect dishes like sorpotel or cafreal depending on local specialty.
Later visit Margao Market to see southern Goa's bustling trade in fish, rice, coconut products and sweets.
Important: Wear comfortable shoes for plantation walks; sunscreen and hats recommended.
South Goa Coastal Food Trail & Evening at Colva
Explore South Goa's coastal culinary scene with morning visits to fish markets near Margao and sampling of local bakery items and coconut-based sweets. Enjoy a relaxed lunch at a renowned Colva or Cavelossim restaurant focusing on seafood and regional flavors.
Afternoon free for beach time or optional short boat trip. In the evening, savor a farewell dinner highlighting dishes learned during your cooking class and local specialties.
Tip: South Goa evenings are quieter — perfect for sunset dining.
Final Shopping & Departure
On your final morning, visit Panjim or Mapusa for last-minute shopping — spices, feni bottles (properly packed), cashew chocolates and handicrafts make excellent souvenirs.
Transfer to Goa International Airport or Madgaon Railway Station for your onward journey.
Note: Check flight/train timings; allow adequate time for transfers and luggage packing.

Goa Planning Felt Like Talking to a Friend
I was honestly expecting the usual back-and-forth of filling forms and waiting for emails. TourGrids was nothing like that. My husband and I wanted a Goa trip that wasn't a generic beach package — more relaxed, a mix of North and South Goa, good hotels but not overpriced. I got on a call with their team, explained exactly what we had in mind, and within a day they sent an itinerary that actually reflected what I'd said. We went back and forth a couple of times on WhatsApp to tweak the hotel and add a day trip. No pressure, no upselling, no hidden charges at checkout. The whole planning part, which I usually dread, was genuinely easy this time.
Goa Took Shape Over Two Relaxed Calls
We had a rough idea of what we wanted for our Goa trip — beach side hotel, a few day trips, nothing too packed — and the TourGrids team basically built the whole itinerary around that. Two calls with their coordinator, shared our dates and budget on WhatsApp, and within a day we had options ready. No back and forth nonsense. They adjusted the hotel after I said we wanted something quieter than North Goa, and that was sorted without any fuss. My wife and I are not the type to plan every detail ourselves, so having someone actually listen on the call made a big difference. Pricing was upfront, no surprises later.
Goa Hotel Changed Last Minute, Nobody Panicked
We reached Goa and the hotel we'd booked had some issue with our room — fully occupied, no explanation from the property. I called our TourGrids coordinator Priya straight away and she sorted an alternate hotel within 40 minutes, same area, honestly a better place than the original. Me and my wife were standing outside with luggage and she kept us updated on every call until the new booking was confirmed. No extra charges, no back and forth, just done. The rest of the trip — cabs, the North Goa itinerary, everything — ran without any issues. That one moment told me everything about how they actually work.
Goa Cab Drama Resolved Before We Reached Hotel
We landed in Goa and our cab driver just didn't show up. No call, no message — nothing. I panicked and immediately texted our TourGrids coordinator on WhatsApp. Within ten minutes, a replacement cab was confirmed and on its way. No extra charge, no argument, just sorted. My husband and I were honestly relieved because we had no idea how to manage that on our own in an unfamiliar city. The rest of the trip — hotels, sightseeing, transfers — all went exactly as planned. Hotels were proper good, well-located too. It's that one moment at the airport that I keep telling people about. Really changed how I feel about booking through a company.
Handed Over the Planning, Got Back Confidence
I have always been the type to research everything myself before travelling, so trusting a company with our entire Goa trip felt a bit uncomfortable at first. But honestly, TourGrids changed that. My wife and I booked a 5-night package and from the very first WhatsApp conversation, things felt proper organised. The coordinator explained everything clearly — hotel options, cab arrangements, what's included, what's not. No hidden charges, nothing vague. The hotel they suggested was genuinely good, much better than what I would have picked within that budget. Cabs were on time throughout. When I had a small query on day two, got a reply within minutes. First time I gave full control to someone else for a trip, and it paid off.
Goa Resorts and Cabs Left Nothing to Complain
Booked a Goa trip for my wife and me through TourGrids after a couple of WhatsApp conversations and one call. Honestly wasn't expecting much, but the hotel they arranged in North Goa was proper good — sea-facing room, clean, well-maintained, exactly what was shown during booking. No surprises on check-in. The cab arrangements were equally solid. Every transfer — airport pickup, sightseeing, drop — was on time without us having to chase anyone. Driver was courteous and knew the routes well. Our coordinator Priya kept checking in through the trip without being too intrusive. No hidden charges when we settled up. For a couple looking for a relaxed Goa trip without managing ten different vendors, this worked out really well.
