Itinerary

Day1

Arrival in Bhuj — Introduction to Kutch

Arrive at Bhuj Airport/Railway Station and transfer to your hotel. Take a relaxed afternoon city orientation visiting the region's cultural heart. Activities include a guided walk through the old city bazaar and an evening visit to local artisan clusters. Early arrivals can opt for an optional textile shopping tour.

Day2

Bhuj: Museums, Weavers & Textile Introduction

A full day exploring Bhuj’s craft scene and museums. Visit Kutch Museum to learn about local history and traditions, then spend time at Bhujodi—the famous weaver village—where you’ll meet master weavers and watch Bandhani and handloom techniques. Afternoon is reserved for a short introductory workshop: basic Bandhani/ikat techniques led by a local artisan. Carry a small notebook and camera for patterns and color references.

Day3

Drive to Nirona — Rogan Art & Copper Craft Workshop

Transfer to the craft village of Nirona (approx. 1.5–2 hours). Nirona is famous for Rogan painting, copper bells and pottery. Participate in a hands-on Rogan painting session with artisans and try your hand at making a small copper bell or clay piece. Evening village walk and overnight at a comfortable homestay. This is a rare opportunity for intimate, supervised craft learning.

Day4

Hodka Village Homestay — Embroidery & Daily Life

Travel to Hodka and settle into a family-run homestay. The day centers on hands-on Kutch embroidery and mirror-work workshops led by village women artisans—perfect for couples on a Gujarat Honeymoon package seeking close cultural exchange. Participate in cooking a traditional Gujarati meal with the host family and enjoy an evening of storytelling and folk music around a bonfire.

Day5

Sunrise at the White Rann — Dhordo & Kala Dungar

Early departure for the spectacular White Rann / Rann of Kutch for sunrise (Dhordo). Witness the salt desert glow, take guided nature walks and photoshoots, and visit Kala Dungar (Black Hill) for panoramic views and the Dattatreya temple. Afternoon return to the homestay for rest; evening free for local interactions. If traveling during the Rann Utsav (Nov–Feb), enjoy optional cultural shows and stall markets.

Day6

Mandvi — Shipbuilding, Beaches & Royal Architecture

Drive to Mandvi with stops en route to visit crafts and shipyards. Explore the centuries-old Vijay Vilas Palace, relax at Mandvi Beach, and visit traditional wooden ship builders to learn about local boat-making techniques. Evening at leisure — perfect for a romantic sunset stroll for couples on a Gujarat Honeymoon tour package.

Day7

Departure — Drop to Bhuj and journey home

After breakfast, transfer to Bhuj for your onward flight or train. Depending on your schedule, visit last-minute markets in Bhuj for souvenirs such as textiles, Rogan art pieces and embroidered items. Please confirm your departure time in advance so transfers can be coordinated.
