Arrival in Jaipur & Leisure Evening
Arrive at Jaipur airport/railway station. Transfer to your hotel and check-in. Relax and enjoy an introductory orientation about the Rajasthan Family Retreat package. In the evening, take a short walk in the lively Johari Bazaar or enjoy a traditional Rajasthani thali tasting at the hotel.
Tip: If time allows, enjoy a rooftop view of the city with a cup of masala chai.
Jaipur – Amber Fort & City Sights
After breakfast, visit the magnificent Amber Fort — explore the mirror work Sheesh Mahal, sprawling courtyards and enjoy panoramic views from the fort ramparts. Continue to the city's highlights: City Palace, Jantar Mantar (astronomical observatory) and the iconic Hawa Mahal. Afternoon free for shopping or optional activities like a heritage walk.
Important: Amber Fort can be busy; plan early morning or late afternoon visits to avoid peak crowds.
Jaipur to Ranthambore via Scenic Drive
After breakfast, depart for Ranthambore National Park (approx. 3.5–4 hours). En route, enjoy Rajasthan's rural scenery. Check-in at your wildlife resort and relax. If time permits, join an optional nature walk around the property or a village visit.
Note: Safari timings are usually early morning and late afternoon; confirm with the resort.
Ranthambore — Morning & Afternoon Safaris
Early morning Ranthambore Tiger Safari in Ranthambore National Park — search for tigers, leopards, sloth bears, spotted deer and a variety of birds. Return to the resort for breakfast and rest. Enjoy a second afternoon/evening safari for more wildlife viewing opportunities and sunset photography.
Tip: Carry binoculars, sunhat and light layers; safaris can be dusty.
Ranthambore to Bharatpur (Keoladeo) — Afternoon at Leisure
After breakfast, drive to Bharatpur (approx. 5–6 hours). Check-in at the hotel and relax. Evening at leisure: stroll the hotel grounds, enjoy cultural performances (if offered) or rest after the journey.
Important: Long drive day — carry water and light snacks in case of stops en route.
Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary — Full Day Birding & Heritage
Full day dedicated to the Keoladeo National Park (Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary) — a UNESCO World Heritage site famed for migratory and resident birds. Explore by bicycle, horse-cart (tongas) or on foot with a local naturalist guide during a Keoladeo Ghana National Park birding session. Afternoon visit to Deeg Palace (optional) — an elegant 18th-century palace with gardens and water features.
Note: Best birdwatching is early morning and late afternoon; carry a field guide or ask the guide for a checklist.
Bharatpur — Departure / Transfer
After breakfast, depending on your onward travel plans, transfer to Agra/Delhi/Jaipur for onward connections. If your schedule allows, enjoy a last short walk in the town or visit local markets for souvenirs.
Tip: If you wish to include the Taj Mahal (Agra) or extend the package, we can customize your transfer and itinerary.
