Arrival & Introduction to Jaipur
Arrive at Jaipur Airport/Railway Station. Meet and greet by your representative and transfer to the hotel. Check-in and relax. In the late afternoon visit Hawa Mahal (Palace of Winds) for photos and proceed to explore the colorful lanes of the local bazaars. Evening at leisure with an optional traditional Rajasthani dinner at the hotel or a local restaurant.
Tip: Aim to arrive by early afternoon to make the most of the first evening in the markets.
Amber Fort & Jaigarh Fort — Royal Hill Circuit
After breakfast head out to the magnificent Amber Fort (Amer Fort). Explore the grand courtyards, Sheesh Mahal (Hall of Mirrors), and enjoy panoramic views of Maota Lake. (Optional elephant/jeep ride to Amber Fort available at additional cost.)
Post Amber visit, proceed to Jaigarh Fort to see the historic cannons and fortifications. Conclude the day with a drive up to Nahargarh Fort for a spectacular sunset over Jaipur and the city lights.
Tip: Carry a hat, sunscreen, and comfortable walking shoes. Morning visits are cooler and less crowded.
City Palace, Jantar Mantar & Cultural Immersion
Start the day with a guided visit to the majestic City Palace complex — explore royal museums, courtyards, and the fascinating architecture. Visit Jantar Mantar, the UNESCO World Heritage astronomical observatory nearby, to learn about ancient Indian astronomy.
Afternoon free for lunch and optional visits to Albert Hall Museum or the serene Jal Mahal (view from the road). Spend the evening shopping for handicrafts, jewelry, and textiles in Johari Bazaar and enjoy a traditional folk dance performance (subject to availability).
Note: City Palace has some sections with timed entries; keep your ID handy for ticketing.
Departure — Last-minute Sightseeing & Farewell
After breakfast, check out from the hotel. Depending on your departure schedule, you can visit any missed attractions or complete last-minute shopping. Transfer to Jaipur Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey with fond memories of your Rajasthan Family Retreat package.

Our Rajasthan Coordinator Replied Before I Could Stress
Booked a Rajasthan trip with my wife through TourGrids and honestly, the coordinator they assigned us — Priya — was the real difference. Before the trip, she was always available on WhatsApp, never left us on read, and when I had last-minute confusion about the Jaisalmer hotel, she sorted it on call within ten minutes. On ground, when our cab to Jodhpur was running late, she tracked it herself and kept updating us without us having to follow up. Itinerary was well-paced, no hidden charges came up at checkout, and the hotels were proper good for the price we paid. Felt like someone was actually looking out for us the whole time.
Rajasthan Hotels Were a Genuine Step Up
We were honestly not expecting the kind of properties TourGrids put us in — my husband and I have done Rajasthan before on our own, and the difference was clear from the first night in Jaipur itself. The heritage hotel they booked had this whole courtyard setup, proper good vibes, nothing like those mid-range places we usually end up with. Udaipur and Jaisalmer stays were equally well chosen. And the cabs — always on time, clean cars, drivers who actually knew the routes. No waiting around, no last-minute confusion. Our coordinator had everything lined up before we even landed. Genuinely one of the better-planned trips we have taken as a couple.
