Itinerary
Arrival in Udaipur & Sunset Lake Pichola Boat Ride
Arrive at Udaipur airport/railway station and transfer to your pre-booked heritage palace hotel. Relax and freshen up. In the late afternoon, enjoy a romantic boat ride on Lake Pichola — glide past Jag Mandir, watch the golden hues on the City Palace façades, and capture beautiful sunset photos. Evening at leisure with an optional candlelight dinner at the palace hotel.
Important: Boat rides are scheduled by the hotel/boat operator; timings may vary seasonally.
Udaipur City Tour – City Palace, Jagdish Temple & Crystal Gallery
After breakfast, begin a guided walking tour of Udaipur City. Visit the sprawling City Palace complex—explore courtyards, museum galleries, and panoramic terraces overlooking Lake Pichola. Walk to the nearby Jagdish Temple (an intricately carved 17th-century temple). Visit the impressive Gulab Bagh & Zoo or the Crystal Gallery (optional) for a unique collection of crystal artifacts. In the evening, attend the cultural show at Bagore Ki Haveli (traditional Rajasthani dance and puppet performance).
Note: City Palace has many steps and some areas may be restricted. Comfortable footwear is recommended.
Day Trip to Kumbhalgarh Fort – Royal Ramparts and Countryside
Full-day excursion to Kumbhalgarh Fort (approx. 2–3 hours drive each way). Explore the majestic ramparts, massive gates, and temples within the fort complex. Learn about the fort's strategic importance and enjoy panoramic views of the Aravalli hills. Return to Udaipur in the evening for dinner at your hotel and a relaxed stroll along the lakeside promenades.
Tip: Wear sun protection and carry water for the fort visit. The fort involves uphill walks and steps.
Fateh Sagar, Saheliyon Ki Bari & Monsoon Palace Sunset
After a leisurely breakfast, visit Saheliyon Ki Bari (the Garden of the Maidens) with its fountains and manicured lawns. Continue to Fateh Sagar Lake for a relaxed boat ride or lakeside walk and photo stops. In the late afternoon, drive to Monsoon Palace (Sajjangarh) to witness a spectacular sunset over Udaipur—an ideal romantic moment for honeymooners. Return to the hotel for a special dinner.
Important: Monsoon Palace is on a hill—allow extra time for travel during peak traffic or festival days.
Leisure Morning, Shopping & Departure
Enjoy a relaxed breakfast and free time for last-minute shopping in Udaipur's bazaars—pick up miniature paintings, silver jewelry, handmade puppets, and textiles. Depending on your departure schedule, visit any missed attractions or simply enjoy the hotel amenities. Transfer to Udaipur airport/railway station for your onward journey.
Note: Check-out times vary by hotel; request late checkout in advance if needed (subject to availability).

Our Rajasthan Coordinator Replied Before I Could Stress
Booked a Rajasthan trip with my wife through TourGrids and honestly, the coordinator they assigned us — Priya — was the real difference. Before the trip, she was always available on WhatsApp, never left us on read, and when I had last-minute confusion about the Jaisalmer hotel, she sorted it on call within ten minutes. On ground, when our cab to Jodhpur was running late, she tracked it herself and kept updating us without us having to follow up. Itinerary was well-paced, no hidden charges came up at checkout, and the hotels were proper good for the price we paid. Felt like someone was actually looking out for us the whole time.
Rajasthan Hotels Were a Genuine Step Up
We were honestly not expecting the kind of properties TourGrids put us in — my husband and I have done Rajasthan before on our own, and the difference was clear from the first night in Jaipur itself. The heritage hotel they booked had this whole courtyard setup, proper good vibes, nothing like those mid-range places we usually end up with. Udaipur and Jaisalmer stays were equally well chosen. And the cabs — always on time, clean cars, drivers who actually knew the routes. No waiting around, no last-minute confusion. Our coordinator had everything lined up before we even landed. Genuinely one of the better-planned trips we have taken as a couple.
