Itinerary
Arrival in Jaipur and Evening Exploration
Arrive in Jaipur (by flight/rail/road). Meet and transfer to your hotel for check-in. After some rest, explore the pink city's iconic landmarks. Visit Hawa Mahal for photos and stroll through the colorful bazaars of Johari Bazaar and Bapu Bazaar. Enjoy an optional traditional Rajasthani dinner at a local restaurant.
Tip: Jaipur traffic can be busy during peak hours — plan transfers accordingly.
Amber Fort, City Palace & Cultural Evening
Full-day sightseeing of Jaipur's major attractions. Start with the majestic Amber Fort (jeep/elephant approach optional). Continue to Jaigarh Fort for panoramic views, then visit the royal City Palace and the UNESCO-listed Jantar Mantar observatory. Capture iconic photos at Hawa Mahal from the outside if desired. In the evening, experience a cultural performance or a heritage dining option.
Important: Carry sunscreen and comfortable footwear — there is a fair amount of walking on uneven surfaces.
Drive to Jodhpur — Mehrangarh & Local Sights
After breakfast, drive to Jodhpur (approx. 5–6 hours) with scenic landscapes en route. Check-in at your hotel and head out to explore the imposing Mehrangarh Fort followed by the serene Jaswant Thada. Walk through the blue lanes of the Old City and visit the clock tower market for local handicrafts and spices.
Note: Long drive day — consider breaks at roadside cafes and photo stops.
Transfer to Udaipur via Ranakpur (optional) — Evening Boat Ride
Depart Jodhpur after breakfast and drive to Udaipur (approx. 4–5 hours). Optionally stop at the Ranakpur Jain Temples (famous for marble architecture) en route. Arrive in Udaipur, check in and in the evening enjoy a serene boat ride on Lake Pichola, admiring the illuminated City Palace and Jag Mandir.
Tip: Boat rides are weather-dependent; schedule during early evening for the best lighting and cooler temperatures.
Udaipur City Palace, Saheliyon ki Bari & Local Markets
Explore the romantic city of Udaipur with a visit to the grand City Palace complex, the museum at Umaid Bhawan (if time permits), Saheliyon ki Bari (Garden of the Maidens), and the Bagore Ki Haveli (evening cultural show optional). Spend free time shopping at Hathi Pol Bazaar for miniature paintings and handcrafted souvenirs.
Note: Udaipur’s lanes are pedestrian-friendly; allow time for leisurely strolling and photography.
Departure from Udaipur
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and transfer to Udaipur airport/railway station for your onward journey. If time permits, enjoy a relaxed breakfast by the lake before departure.
