Itinerary

Day1

Arrival, Transfer to Panaji & Evening Riverside Walk

Arrive at Goa International Airport / Madgaon Railway Station and transfer to Panaji (Panjim). Check into your hotel in the charming Fontainhas area or riverside Panaji. Spend the evening strolling along the River Mandovi promenade, watch the sunset and enjoy a welcome Goan seafood dinner at a local restaurant.

Tip: If you arrive early, take a short ferry ride on the Mandovi for a quick orientation of the city.

Day2

Old Goa Churches & Heritage Latin Quarter Walk

Full day exploring Goa's UNESCO-rich Christian heritage. Visit the Basilica of Bom Jesus (housing the relics of St. Francis Xavier) and the Se Cathedral. Continue to the Church of St. Francis of Assisi and the archaeological area of Old Goa. In the afternoon, enjoy a guided heritage walk through Fontainhas — Panaji's Latin Quarter — with colorful Portuguese-style houses, art studios and photo stops.

Evening at leisure with an optional dinner at a heritage mansion serving classic Goan xacuti and vindaloo.

Important: Basilica of Bom Jesus can be crowded during peak season; early morning visits are recommended.

Day3

Spice Plantation, Temple Visit & Transfer to North Goa

Check out and drive to a traditional spice plantation. Enjoy a guided tour showcasing cloves, cinnamon, pepper and indigenous herbs followed by a sumptuous Goan-Spice lunch. After lunch, visit Mangeshi Temple, one of Goa's most important Hindu pilgrimage sites. Later proceed to North Goa and check into your beach hotel near Calangute / Baga.

Evening: Beach time at Calangute with a relaxed dinner.

Note: Spice plantation lunches are largely vegetarian with local flavor; inform us of dietary preferences in advance.

Day4

North Goa Beaches, Forts & Flea Markets

Today explore North Goa's famous coastline. Start at Baga and Calangute beaches, then head to Anjuna for its colorful flea market (seasonal) and the dramatic cliffs of Vagator. Visit Chapora Fort for panoramic coastal views. Afternoon free for water sports or optional river cruise / sunset cruise.

Evening: Experience North Goa nightlife (Tito's Lane / beach shacks) or opt for a quieter seaside dinner.

Safety tip: Keep valuables secure on crowded beaches and avoid swimming after sunset.

Day5

Culinary Trails & Local Markets — Mapusa & Cooking Class

Morning visit to Mapusa Market (if market day) to witness local produce, spices and fish markets — perfect for food lovers. Participate in an interactive Goan cooking class at a local home/heritage kitchen learning regional dishes like fish curry, sorpotel or vegetarian xacuti. Afternoon at leisure on the beach or a short visit to Reis Magos Fort for panoramic views.

Evening: Relax with a sunset walk and sample local feni and toddy flavors.

Note: Market days vary; the guide will adjust the visit to align with local schedules.

Day6

Dona Paula, Panaji Viewpoints & Transfer to South Goa

Check out from North Goa hotel and drive south. En route, stop at Dona Paula viewpoint and the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church in Panaji for a quick photo stop. Continue to South Goa, checking into a beach resort in Colva / Majorda. Afternoon at leisure on quiet South Goa beaches.

Evening: Fresh seafood dinner at a beach shack.

Tip: South Goa offers calmer beaches — ideal for travelers seeking relaxation after North Goa's bustle.

Day7

South Goa Heritage, Cabo de Rama & Pilgrimage Visits

Explore South Goa's heritage and quieter coastline. Visit Cabo de Rama Fort for spectacular sea views and head to the fishing village of Agonda / Palolem. Include a visit to Shantadurga Temple (or a locally significant temple) and explore colonial-era mansions in Chandor if time permits. Late afternoon return to your South Goa resort for leisure.

Evening: Candlelit beach dinner with coastal Goan cuisine.

Accessibility note: Cabo de Rama involves steps and uneven paths — wear comfortable shoes.

Day8

Boat Excursion, Wildlife & Farewell Goan Feast

Option for a morning boat trip to visit Butterfly Beach or take a dolphin-spotting cruise (seasonal). Alternatively, a guided nature walk at Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary or a relaxed day at Palolem. In the evening, enjoy a farewell Goan feast with live music and feni tasting — a festive end to your Goa Pilgrimage tour package.

Tip: Dolphin cruises are subject to sea conditions; early morning departures increase sighting chances.

Day9

Departure — Transfer to Airport / Railway Station

After breakfast, check out and transfer to Goa International Airport / Madgaon Railway Station for your onward journey. En route, make a quick stop at any nearby viewpoint or souvenir shop if time allows. Bid farewell to Goa — a perfect blend of culture, cuisine and coast.

Note: Standard check-out times apply; request late checkout if your flight schedule allows (subject to availability).

Goa Planning Felt Like Talking to a Friend

I was honestly expecting the usual back-and-forth of filling forms and waiting for emails. TourGrids was nothing like that. My husband and I wanted a Goa trip that wasn't a generic beach package — more relaxed, a mix of North and South Goa, good hotels but not overpriced. I got on a call with their team, explained exactly what we had in mind, and within a day they sent an itinerary that actually reflected what I'd said. We went back and forth a couple of times on WhatsApp to tweak the hotel and add a day trip. No pressure, no upselling, no hidden charges at checkout. The whole planning part, which I usually dread, was genuinely easy this time.

Goa Took Shape Over Two Relaxed Calls

We had a rough idea of what we wanted for our Goa trip — beach side hotel, a few day trips, nothing too packed — and the TourGrids team basically built the whole itinerary around that. Two calls with their coordinator, shared our dates and budget on WhatsApp, and within a day we had options ready. No back and forth nonsense. They adjusted the hotel after I said we wanted something quieter than North Goa, and that was sorted without any fuss. My wife and I are not the type to plan every detail ourselves, so having someone actually listen on the call made a big difference. Pricing was upfront, no surprises later.

Goa Hotel Changed Last Minute, Nobody Panicked

We reached Goa and the hotel we'd booked had some issue with our room — fully occupied, no explanation from the property. I called our TourGrids coordinator Priya straight away and she sorted an alternate hotel within 40 minutes, same area, honestly a better place than the original. Me and my wife were standing outside with luggage and she kept us updated on every call until the new booking was confirmed. No extra charges, no back and forth, just done. The rest of the trip — cabs, the North Goa itinerary, everything — ran without any issues. That one moment told me everything about how they actually work.

Goa Cab Drama Resolved Before We Reached Hotel

We landed in Goa and our cab driver just didn't show up. No call, no message — nothing. I panicked and immediately texted our TourGrids coordinator on WhatsApp. Within ten minutes, a replacement cab was confirmed and on its way. No extra charge, no argument, just sorted. My husband and I were honestly relieved because we had no idea how to manage that on our own in an unfamiliar city. The rest of the trip — hotels, sightseeing, transfers — all went exactly as planned. Hotels were proper good, well-located too. It's that one moment at the airport that I keep telling people about. Really changed how I feel about booking through a company.

Handed Over the Planning, Got Back Confidence

I have always been the type to research everything myself before travelling, so trusting a company with our entire Goa trip felt a bit uncomfortable at first. But honestly, TourGrids changed that. My wife and I booked a 5-night package and from the very first WhatsApp conversation, things felt proper organised. The coordinator explained everything clearly — hotel options, cab arrangements, what's included, what's not. No hidden charges, nothing vague. The hotel they suggested was genuinely good, much better than what I would have picked within that budget. Cabs were on time throughout. When I had a small query on day two, got a reply within minutes. First time I gave full control to someone else for a trip, and it paid off.

Goa Resorts and Cabs Left Nothing to Complain

Booked a Goa trip for my wife and me through TourGrids after a couple of WhatsApp conversations and one call. Honestly wasn't expecting much, but the hotel they arranged in North Goa was proper good — sea-facing room, clean, well-maintained, exactly what was shown during booking. No surprises on check-in. The cab arrangements were equally solid. Every transfer — airport pickup, sightseeing, drop — was on time without us having to chase anyone. Driver was courteous and knew the routes well. Our coordinator Priya kept checking in through the trip without being too intrusive. No hidden charges when we settled up. For a couple looking for a relaxed Goa trip without managing ten different vendors, this worked out really well.
